Mods to be completed this summer: headers, 3200-3500 stall, chip, powertrax no slip system, battery relocation. (saturday) GrayGhost1 July 17th, 2006, 02:55 PM I don't have any plans on August 5th. There is normally a get together of all the local hot rods and such in Knoxville every Saturday. They meet at a big shopping center on Clinton Highway. We could do that if everyone want to show up. Boomhower July 17th, 2006, 09:47 PM I don't have any plans on August 5th. There is normally a get together of all the local hot rods and such in Knoxville every Saturday. They meet at a big shopping center on Clinton Highway. We could do that if everyone want to show up. That sounds good. As far as I know, that time slot's open for me....and while we're at it, maybe we could plan a ride for some other time while a bunch of us are together. gt95coupe July 19th, 2006, 05:54 PM lets do it Boomhower July 21st, 2006, 08:01 PM Ken, where is this shopping center @? gt95coupe July 21st, 2006, 10:25 PM Ken can you give me some directions? Im not real familiar with west K-town. Also are wifes/girlfreinds coming to this or is it a dudes night? Boomhower July 22nd, 2006, 09:01 PM That was going to be my next question....you beat me to it.....Actually it's kinda in the center of east and west town. Not hard to find at all. On 40E you'll pass west town, take the 640E/75N exit off of 40E, and then Clinton Hwy is like the 3rd or 4th exit. If you go to the 75N exit, you've gone one to far. Now, Ken, where is this shopping center @ off of Clinton Hwy? GrayGhost1 July 23rd, 2006, 06:52 PM The shopping center is where the old K-Mart use to be on Clinton Hwy. If you come down Merchants Road towards Clinton Hwy turn left on Clinton Hwy. Go to the next red light and turn left. You'll see an Advanced Auto there. Advanced Auto sponsors that car gathering every Saturday night. Boomhower July 23rd, 2006, 08:44 PM Ok. I think I know where you're talking about. gt95coupe, Clinton Hwy is exit 3b off of 640. Saw it tonight. So are we planning this thing? Aug. 5th? GrayGhost1 July 24th, 2006, 06:02 AM Let's set it up! It's a go! gt95coupe July 24th, 2006, 03:36 PM We gonna eat some where? (if its not too far PF changs is good) when is the meet going to start? are chicks coming? We might want to send out a broadcast type PM or somthing for anyone that might want to attend. Boomhower July 24th, 2006, 05:29 PM My wife said she would go, but doesn't want to be the only one there. PF Changs is a little bit out of the way. Not real crazy about Chinese anyways, plus there is a lot of good places to eat on Merchant's Drive and on up Clinton Hwy. Both of which are just a hop, skip and a jump away. It may be a little late to get many ppl to respond on such short notice, but it definitely wouldn't hurt anything to ask. gt95coupe July 24th, 2006, 08:44 PM My wife said she would go, but doesn't want to be the only one there. So your wife will not be the only one and anyone that wants to meet me pm me. Boomhower July 24th, 2006, 09:17 PM What time are we going to plan on meeting? Ken, what time does the car show kick off? GrayGhost1 July 24th, 2006, 10:19 PM People start arriving there around 7:00 pm and stay until dark. I was thinking around that time. I'll ask the boss if she wants to go to PF Changs and we can all meet there and then jet blast to Clinton Hwy. gt95coupe July 25th, 2006, 03:27 PM People start arriving there around 7:00 pm and stay until dark. If you dont PM me Boomhower July 25th, 2006, 08:25 PM Well crap!!! I hate to be the dull fogy of the bunch. My wife wants to eat there all the time, but I always steer the other direction. Neither of us have ever been, she loves Chinese, and the only Chinese food I've ate is the cat and dog buffet kind. I'm sure this place is a major step up from that. We might have some family conflicts, so if we can get that worked out, we'll plan on meeting you guys at PF Changs. If not, then I'll stop by over at the car show. What time we're you all thinking about meeting to eat, just so I can plan a little easier. gt95coupe July 26th, 2006, 03:48 PM Well crap!!! I hate to be the dull fogy of the bunch. Boomhower July 28th, 2006, 10:26 PM That stinks Bill. I know it's short notice, but does anyone else feel up to par for a joy ride? The more, the merrier. Hopefully we can do this again sometime soon, only with a little more response time for everyone. I do know of couple of dates that are just around the corner. Aug. 11, 12, and 13th. There'll be 2 of us. gt95coupe July 31st, 2006, 09:40 PM sorry 5:30 but that can be changed if you guys think its too early or late Boomhower July 31st, 2006, 10:01 PM That's fine by me.....Just let us know what you come up with GrayGhost1 August 5th, 2006, 07:40 PM We finally got together tonight for our first annual Tennessee meet. Eventhough we only had three members there we still had a great time. We first met at PF Chang's on Kingston Pike for a great dinner and then headed to the Advance Auto Saturday Night Car Gathering on Clinton Hwy. It was a muggy night so we didn't stay very long but we saw some great looking cars and our LS's were part of it. We hope to have these more often and want more participation. If you are interested in the next meet let us know here or PM me. Below are two pics of our cars. Members meeting were gt95coupe (Danny Norton), Boomhower (Brandon Barnard) and GrayGhost1 (yours truly!). postalUT September 18th, 2006, 07:21 PM Hey guys. I saw there are a few of us LS folks here in Knoxville. Me and my roomate were gona try and run Tail of the Dragon sometime around October 14-15 (TENTATIVELY). If you don't know what it is its an old highway running from Tennessee to North Carolina and it's less than an hour south of Knoxville. It's an 11 mile two-lane road with over 300 turns. The website can be found here (http://www.tailofthedragon.com/). My roomate will be running an '03 BMW 325 and I'll be in my '02 LSE. If y'all are interested, we could set up a small outing. We could meet up somewhere in town and caravan out to TOD and do a few runs up and down the highway, and maybe grab something to eat along the way. It'd be a great photo opportunity (imagine a photo of 4-5 LS's running TOD in a row). Of course it wouldn't be restricted to LS owners. Anyway if anyone in Knoxville is interested let me know and we'll see what we can come up with. BTW does anyone know of any other LSE's in Knoxville. I found another LSE on a UT Campus Garage (exact twin of mine, except with duct tape (wtf?) on the lower grill) and I havent seen them on here. They should definitely get involved. gt95coupe September 21st, 2006, 09:01 PM It sounds good to me Im not sure about the date yet. I could meet you kville guys at the exit for the TOD then we could eat afterwards or whatever. Boomhower November 1st, 2006, 09:06 PM I got to thinking today that we should meet up one more time before the weather stays nasty for the winter. Any bites? Anytime! postalUT November 2nd, 2006, 01:07 AM If I can fit it around my work and class schedule I'm always down! postalUT November 2nd, 2006, 07:37 PM No weekend or night classes, but I do work a weekend job. If we can do it on a Saturday around lunchtime, I can still make it to work by 5. If that's not convenient, I can do dinner time any day during the week except Wednesday and Friday. Boomhower November 3rd, 2006, 05:39 AM If I can fit it around my work and class schedule I'm always down! I'm sure it would be on a weekend. Do you have any weekend or night classes? gt95coupe November 3rd, 2006, 02:18 PM It sounds good to me maybe in a couple weeks? I cant this weekend. lets do it Boomhower November 3rd, 2006, 05:02 PM I can't this weekend either. I'd say let's plan it for a few weeks out that way maybe it will give some others time to see this thread a plan on coming. postalUT November 3rd, 2006, 09:35 PM I agree, but I'm going to be in Memphis during the Thanksgiving holiday. Perhaps the weekend before? Boomhower November 3rd, 2006, 09:45 PM I agree, but I'm going to be in Memphis during the Thanksgiving holiday. Perhaps the weekend before? I'll be in Michigan as well on Thanksgiving weekend, and not available either Sat. before Thanksgiving. What about you other guys? gt95coupe November 3rd, 2006, 10:43 PM How bout we shoot for the first weekend in Dec.?? postalUT November 4th, 2006, 02:05 AM I think that will work for me, exams are two weeks after that so I wont be able to during the second weekend in december. Now all we need is a time and a place bill5 November 5th, 2006, 03:58 PM Would love to do it, but I'll be in at the last minute, if I can swing it. GrayGhost1 November 5th, 2006, 04:20 PM Would love to do it, but I'll be in at the last minute, if I can swing it. You will definitely have to come this time. gt95coupe November 5th, 2006, 07:46 PM You guys decide the time&place and ill be there! Should we send out a regional message? Boomhower November 5th, 2006, 07:55 PM Should we send out a regional message? I've contacted a few via PM, but only a few. The last time Wicked LS sent out a regional PM for me. I asked him how he did it and he said it was something that had to be set up by admin. 9enisP November 5th, 2006, 11:24 PM Hey, thanks for the PM Boomhower. I'd love to start meeting up with you guys. I won't be able to make it to any soon though. I'm deployed right now and will be back in January. I'm stationed in Missouri right now, but my family is in Lebanon (about 30 miles east of Nashville). I'm trying to join the guard unit in Knoxville and live in Nashville hopefully as soon as I get back from this deployment. I'll try and keep an eye out for the meet ups you have, but feel free to pm anytime just incase. Boomhower November 6th, 2006, 05:36 PM Hey, thanks for the PM Boomhower. Probably Tail of the dragon postalUT November 16th, 2006, 11:35 PM Definitely on Saturday Dec 2 (I can request off of work all day). If we want to meet somewhere in Knoxville we can caravan out to TOD and take a few runs and grab a bite at one of the restaraunts. Definitely need some pictures on the Tail! gt95coupe November 17th, 2006, 05:29 PM Probably Tail of the dragon Thats it! Ive never been but I hear its pretty cool. Its known well in the Crotch rocket world. Boomhower November 17th, 2006, 08:51 PM Thats it! Ive never been but I hear its pretty cool. Its known well in the Crotch rocket world. Yep...I've wanted to take my bike up there and ride, but I've heard that you will litertally get ran out of the road with all the crotch rockets up there trying to prove who can wreck first. Now that we are in the cold season, we should get a pretty good ride in. There's two website that are based in that area where you can purchase pictures from them. They stand in certain turns of the dragon and snap pics of every vehicle that passes. Then they post them on there site. A couple of buddies of mine rode there bikes up there, then went on there site and did a print screen of the web page and cropped it out in paint. Not the best of pixel quality, but a free pic is a free pic. As far as I know, both groups are up there every weekend. Here's the sites. http://www.dealsgap.com/ (Main webiste) http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?storefront?b=1&c=0HH6 (Direct link to deals gap's pictures) http://killboy.com/ (Main website) http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/store.aspx?p=228 (Direct link to killboy's picutres) postalUT November 18th, 2006, 01:19 AM It is heavily centered around the biker community, but I actually emailed some people at www.tailofthedragon.com and they said that they have just as many cars running as bikes nowadays. I think we should be fine if we take our time and not get too gnarly right off the bat. Also watch out for the occasional turcker. I think we should do it. Especially since most of the other regional groups don't really have anything like we do. We should really take advantage of it. I'll have to find some time to get the car cleaned since it looks like a mess, but other than that I am down. Where should we meet? I was thinking we could head out to a restaurant over in the West Hills/Gallaher View area (perhaps at Puleo's girl?) and take some shots theres with all the LS's. I'm not really sure on how to get around too much in Knoxville since I'm only here for school, but if anyone has any other ideas, please share. 9enisP November 18th, 2006, 02:37 PM Thanks gt95coupe. T.o.D. sounds fun. Make sure you post some pics of this meet. Have fun and be careful. Boomhower November 27th, 2006, 10:32 PM So is everyone's schedule still looking good? We need to start finalizing this thing a little. I've had something come up in the schedule, but I'm working hard to get around it. Oh, and Postal, I don't think eating Puleo's girl is such a good idea.:D J/K. Anywhere is fine by me. Just need to try and plan a place that's kinda on the way. I've never been and haven't had a chance to map it out yet. Maybe someone else know's which way we'll be head'n. postalUT November 27th, 2006, 10:42 PM Here's a map from www.tailofthedragon.com: http://www.tailofthedragon.com/maps/Dir_Knoxville.jpg 129 is a little before Turkey Creek on I-40 in Knoxville. The West Hills/Gallaher View is on the way (except if you're coming from West Knox) which is why I suggested it. But like I said I'm open to any suggestions. Ive already requested off work on Dec. 2 so I'm good to go! gt95coupe November 28th, 2006, 07:38 PM I guess thats cool we can meet @ The West Hills/Gallaher View exit. If we eat in knox but if not I may meet you guys somewhere on 411 and 129. I thought exit 60 would be a little better but looking @ that map the route looks longer than I thought. Keep in mind that Its getting dark just after about 5:30. It will be hard to get any good pics after that Boomhower November 28th, 2006, 10:07 PM I would care a bit to meet out on 411 or 129. I'm sure there's places to eat out there, but I don't know if there is anywhere to eat at the 411/129 split after Maryville. That looks to be the best place for us all to meet, since postal and I would be coming from Knoxville and you would be coming from Chattanooga. I spoke with Ken last week and he's not going to be able to make it and I PM'd Bill5 to see if he thought he was going to come. He had said earlier that he might be able to, but wouldn't know until last min. I'm still working on Sat. but I'm all but positive I'm going to be able to make it. postalUT November 28th, 2006, 11:26 PM Well someone pick a time and place It's a shame ken won't be able to come out! GrayGhost1 November 29th, 2006, 05:30 AM I'd love to come but this time of year is busy for me. I'll be out of town on Saturday most of the day and won't be able to make it. However, take lots of pictures! Boomhower November 29th, 2006, 07:36 AM Alright, I'm all in. Got everything worked out. I'll talk to some ppl here at work that live out that way and see what all there is to eat out there. As for the time, I'd say meet @ 12. That should give us plenty of time to eat, ride the tail, get plenty of pics, and be done by dark. Is that early enough or should we do it earlier? I don't know how long it takes to ride that 11 miles of curves. gt95coupe November 29th, 2006, 07:40 AM That is the time I was thinking. Do you guys want to eat in knox or the maryville/dragontail area Boomhower November 29th, 2006, 08:36 AM About a mile away from the 411/129 split in maryville, there is a place to eat called the "Gondilar". Real good itillian food. There's also one in Clevland, and they just opened one up in Halls up in north Knoxville. I have ate at all three of them and have never been disappointed with there food. What do you guys think? Other than that there are a ton of places to eat in Knoxville and in Maryville just outside of Aloca on 129. gt95coupe November 29th, 2006, 02:59 PM thats fine with me. IF we meet there Ill meet u guys there. Boomhower November 29th, 2006, 03:26 PM That's the reason I mentioned the place, so you could come up 411. However if Italain food isn't good with every one, 5 to 10 min. back up the road in Maryvile is Chilli's, Cracker Barrel, McCalistar's, Hooters, an Italain pizza joint, Chick-fill-a, Ryan's, Zaxby's, and a few other places I jut can't remember all of them. gt95coupe November 29th, 2006, 06:17 PM Whatever you guys want execpt hooters. not a fan GrayGhost1 November 29th, 2006, 06:47 PM Whatever you guys want execpt hooters. not a fan Yeah and the Hooter's in Alcoa/Maryville SUCKS! Trust me. I'm not a big Hooter's fan either but I lived in Alcoa for 5 years and their food sucks as do the women there. Boomhower November 29th, 2006, 06:48 PM Well let's just say that the only reason you'd go to the Maryville hooter's is because of the hot wings. Unless you like looking at menu's, cause there sure isn't anything else there. My vote's for the Gondolier. It is the easiest place for all of us to meet up not to mention a halfway point. Boomhower November 29th, 2006, 07:18 PM Hope this turns out viewable Boomhower November 29th, 2006, 07:19 PM Here's the address of Gondiler if you want to google it yourself for better directions. 2632 US Highway 411 S, Maryville, TN 37801 gt95coupe November 29th, 2006, 08:34 PM Yeah and the Hooter's in Alcoa/Maryville SUCKS! Trust me. I'm not a big Hooter's fan either but I lived in Alcoa for 5 years and their food sucks as do the women there. LOL I wish you could make it we'll have to meet up later The Italian place is fine with us. Thank you Boomhower for all the foot work on the resturant and address postalUT November 30th, 2006, 01:22 AM Sounds awesome to me! I was hoping to run TOD four times (once each way to get a feel for it, and then another two times to see what we can get out of the cars) I doubt four runs plus lunch could last more than 5 1/2 hours. So yeah, let's do Gondoliers at 12 noon on Saturday. What would you guys say is the travel time from the campus area to the restaurant so I can plan my time? Boomhower November 30th, 2006, 09:32 AM According to google, if you start from the stadium, take Cumberland Ave. to 129 (Alocoa Hwy.), it should take you about 30 to 35 min. to get to the Gondolier. postalUT November 30th, 2006, 02:49 PM I'll leave about 11:20 and wait outside the restaurant. You'll know it's me, because you'll see me by my car and feel jealous! Boomhower December 2nd, 2006, 04:51 PM Our meet from the Tail of the dragon. I don't think we tamed it, but I think we got our 8 seconds worth.:D Hope one of your guys picture turned out a little better than mine did.....But what else can you expect from a 1.3 mega pixel camrea phone. I had a blast guys. Thanks for meeting out and can't wait for another one. gt95coupe December 2nd, 2006, 07:05 PM I as well had a great time! We need to get more Lincolns up there though! Hows those brakes postalut I cant get my pics to upload they are on the hard drive but LVC says upload failed? GrayGhost1 December 2nd, 2006, 07:10 PM Pictures look great. Too bad I couldn't join you guys but will the next time. postalUT December 2nd, 2006, 07:40 PM Brakes were fine on the way home. I'm taking it to the dealership on Monday but I'm sure it'll be fine. I'm sure it was the dirt around the calipers that got too hot and burned off but I didn't have a problem on the way back. I've got my pictures too but I haven't uploaded them to photobucket yet. I had a blast and we shoudl definitely do it again! gt95coupe December 2nd, 2006, 07:44 PM Ken we are talking about maybe doing it again in feb. sometime. hows that month for you? I know its awhile out but maybe we can align all our schedules for one saturday 9enisP December 2nd, 2006, 07:46 PM That'd be awesome. I'd try my damnest to be there. Looking forward to some more pics. gt95coupe December 2nd, 2006, 08:14 PM When are you gonna be back in k-ville again? We were tring to guess in feb. GrayGhost1 December 2nd, 2006, 08:46 PM Ken we are talking about maybe doing it again in feb. sometime. hows that month for you? I know its awhile out but maybe we can align all our schedules for one saturday Well, that's a ways away but I'll definitely work around it this time. Boomhower December 2nd, 2006, 08:59 PM My brother's B-day is on the 24th of Feb. That's the forth weekend in Feb. I'm sure the family will want to do something that weekend with him, so I won't be able to do it then. I know Feb. is a little bit off still, but I'd rather start planning something a little at a time now, so to ensure that we can get more LS's together. I know that there is 6 of us in here in TN that are in decently close range of each other, and I'd love to see all 6 of us riding down the road together. I could see head's turn today when just 3 of us passed by. Imagine what it would be like with 6 (or more) of us. gt95coupe December 2nd, 2006, 09:43 PM Lets go for the 3rd or the 17th that is the first and third weekend gt95coupe December 2nd, 2006, 09:52 PM here are my pics postalUT December 3rd, 2006, 03:46 AM I'll have my pics up sometime tomorrow or Monday 9enisP December 3rd, 2006, 10:31 AM I should be getting back around the 15th of January and will be coming home for a while (3-4 weeks), so the first week of February sounds great. If you guys decide on the third week, I got no problem taking some leave to come back down. I guess you could say, I'm down for whatever you guys decide. The pics look good, its looks beautiful out there. Boomhower December 3rd, 2006, 01:39 PM I'd say let's plan on the first week then. No reason for you to take leave when you could use it for your family or something else some other time. 9enisP December 3rd, 2006, 01:44 PM Yeah, and I just realized that the 3rd weekend is Mardi Gras. So I'll be wasted in St. Louis that weekend. Is there a big celebration in K'ville? gt95coupe December 3rd, 2006, 02:42 PM I'd say let's plan on the first week then. No reason for you to take leave when you could use it for your family or something else some other time. I agree 1st weekend it is. Hows that for you Grey Ghost? GrayGhost1 December 3rd, 2006, 05:25 PM I agree 1st weekend it is. Hows that for you Grey Ghost? I don't have anything planned that weekend yet so it's a go for me. Boomhower December 5th, 2006, 10:12 PM Eric, are you good with the first week in Feb.? postalUT December 6th, 2006, 02:43 AM Yeah that sounds good. I'm going to have my pictures up soon but I'm going to wait and get the pictures from killboy and post them all at once. It turns out I told you guys wrong and they actually have the photographers there on the side of the road. If the pictures turn out good I'm going to buy a print for my wall. gt95coupe December 6th, 2006, 04:37 PM Yeah that sounds good. I'm going to have my pictures up soon but I'm going to wait and get the pictures from killboy and post them all at once. It turns out I told you guys wrong and they actually have the photographers there on the side of the road. If the pictures turn out good I'm going to buy a print for my wall. What did the dealer say about those smoking brakes? postalUT December 6th, 2006, 04:59 PM They said that it was just the brakes getting hot and the dirt in and around the brake parts was heating up and burning causing smoke and smell. I'm taking it to the dealership on Alcoa to get a second to make sure. Boomhower December 6th, 2006, 10:39 PM I'm going to wait and get the pictures from killboy and post them all at once. I've been looking for them to pop up, but still haven't seen them. I'll let you work on this one then.:D I hope they got some of us out there. If they have ppl standing there taking pictures, then surely they would have gotten us coming back thru if they didn't get them the first time. Unless the photographer was in the Killboy's Evo that we passed on the way back.:( GrayGhost1 December 7th, 2006, 05:41 AM They said that it was just the brakes getting hot and the dirt in and around the brake parts was heating up and burning causing smoke and smell. I'm taking it to the dealership on Alcoa to get a second to make sure. If you take it to Neill-Sandler talk to Jimmy Cox. He is the Service Manager there and I know him well. Tell him you are part of the online Lincoln club and he'll know what you are talking about. He will definitely take care of you. Tell him I sent you! You might get thrown out....just kiddin! Boomhower December 7th, 2006, 10:48 AM They threw me out when i mentioned your name. Just kiddin. GrayGhost1 December 7th, 2006, 12:05 PM They threw me out when i mentioned your name. Just kiddin. LOL! I figured that! postalUT December 7th, 2006, 04:56 PM Neil Sandler's the one on Alcoa right? I took it to Ted Russell the first time around and wasn't satisfied at all! GrayGhost1 December 7th, 2006, 05:08 PM Yes. Neill-Sandler is on the right before you enter the motor mile. See Jimmy Cox when you go there. You might want to call him before you go to make sure he is there. postalUT December 7th, 2006, 08:32 PM Thanks! I'll do that! xRellx December 8th, 2006, 07:46 PM Hey guys, this is my first post, but Ive become pretty familiar with the forum and its active members.. So first off, great site, great people, and lots of great info, so keep up the good work! I'm currently in Murfreesboro, and will most likely be for the next few months. As soon as my lease is up here, I will be moving to Hermitage (outside Nashville). Anyways, I have a 95' Cougar at the moment, and am trying my hardest to find a 97/98 LSC in good condition.. If any of you guys have one on the market or know of someone who does, PLEASE let me know! Low mileage and some options is definately a plus.. Thanks everyone. postalUT December 10th, 2006, 03:51 PM It turns out there were NO pictures taken by killboy during our meet (F**K!) so we'll have to get pictures when we meet in feb. Boomhower December 10th, 2006, 05:45 PM But they were there. That blows. Must have been joy riding that day or something. Surely one of us will remember to bring a camera next time so we can get some good pics. postalUT December 10th, 2006, 06:52 PM I was actually looking forward to getting some dramatic Car and Driver like pictures and getting them framed gt95coupe December 10th, 2006, 10:09 PM that sucks postalUT December 10th, 2006, 10:34 PM We can always get some good shots on our February run. SOMEONE BRING A CAMERA!!!!!! I ran into that kid we saw in the Lexus when we went up there. Apparently he lives in the same apartments as me. He said he ran it again that day and saw a bike dip coming from the opposite direction. Guy was alright but really shook up. His riding jacket and pants really saved him from some nasty road rash. Some scratches on the fairing and a bent exhaust tube. WEAR A HELMET!!! 9enisP December 11th, 2006, 04:56 AM I got a camera and will definitely bring it. It has a decent video recorder (640x480) on it too. I can see if a friend wants to come with me and maybe he'll stand on a corner and take a few pics/vids. 9enisP December 11th, 2006, 05:27 AM Well Eric, for what its worth, I tried to clean up Danny's pics. They should be posted below but let me know if you don't see them. Danny, was one of your passenger side angel eyes off in the original front-view pic? http://fetusforge.com/images/Right_side_of_LS's_copy.jpg http://fetusforge.com/images/Front_view_of_LS's_copy.jpg postalUT December 11th, 2006, 01:28 PM those look real good gt95coupe December 11th, 2006, 03:36 PM the angel eyes dont like cold weather. If its cold sometimes the wont light but after you run the low beams for 5-10 minuted they will it up. xRellx December 28th, 2006, 12:49 PM Hey guys.. I picked up a 99' TC Tuesday.. If anyone wants to hook up, let me know. Please inform me of any meetings, etc as well! Thanks. Boomhower December 28th, 2006, 08:48 PM The next scheduled meeting is the one listed above. Feel free to chime in. xRellx December 29th, 2006, 10:55 AM Where exactly will the meet be? And what day- still the first week of Feb. Im assuming. Also, I see most of you have LS's- you wouldnt mind a TC would you? Lastly, whats the age range (I could care less, but others sometimes dislike vast differences-- Im 20). Thanks. Boomhower December 29th, 2006, 03:29 PM Where exactly will the meet be? And what day- still the first week of Feb. Im assuming. Also, I see most of you have LS's- you wouldnt mind a TC would you? Lastly, whats the age range (I could care less, but others sometimes dislike vast differences-- Im 20). Thanks. It's not gonna bother me at all. We've been trying to find a few more ppl to meet out with us, and this is a Lincoln forum. It just worked out that the ones of us that have met out before had LS's. I'm 25, Danny(gt95coupe) is 27, Eric(postalUT) I'm thinking he told me 20, (9enisP) I don't know, and Ken(grayghost1) is 39. But everybody's young at heart, right Ken;). These are the ppl that I'm pretty sure will be making it out this time. I think the plans as of now are to meet in Knoxville somewhere to eat on 2/10/07, then ride over to the tail of the dragon on Hwy 129 close to Maryville. Nothing has been finilized yet so keep checking back here for the rest of the details. gt95coupe January 10th, 2007, 12:13 AM ROLL CALL!!!!! the meet is just a few weeks away whos gonna be there... 9enisP January 10th, 2007, 12:17 AM I'm there!!! About to start a new job, so I need a 100% accurate date. gt95coupe January 10th, 2007, 01:15 PM I think we had decided on feb 3rd its a saturday 9enisP January 10th, 2007, 02:31 PM Sounds good to me. I'm not extremely familiar with K'ville so ya'll should decide where we meet. xRellx January 10th, 2007, 03:26 PM Sounds good, count me in Boomhower January 10th, 2007, 05:20 PM Actually, I'm 38 but who's counting huh? Sorry, I was going off of your profile, but I guess the new year screwed me up a little....Still young at heart though, right? :D Boomhower January 10th, 2007, 05:39 PM I think we had decided on feb 3rd its a saturday The 3rd works best for me. That's the date I've been saving in the calender. As plans are now, I'll be there, baring some unforeseeable occurrence. As for eating, would you all think we'd be better off eating/meeting on the West end of Knoxville, somewhere around Turkey Creek(Lovell Rd exit for those unfamiliar). They have a lot to choose from now, and we'd be a hop, skip, and a jump away from Pellissippi Pkwy (140), which will run us back over to Maryville, and be on our way to the dragon. That is still the plans, right? I'm thinking of a time around 11 am for a little earlier lunch. That'd give us a little more daylight (for pictures and such). Last time we meet around 12, but didn't leave the restaurant until around 2 (?), didn't we Danny.:N:joke big guy......Also does anybody have anything else in mind that they'd like to do while we're out. The last time we meet in Maryville and rode up to the dragon, we were only gone for a few hours. Any one have any other idea's as to something else we can do? postalUT January 10th, 2007, 05:58 PM Turkey Creek on the 3rd sounds good to me. I'll eat just about anything so whatever restaurant y'all choose is fine for me. Noon's a good time to meet as its about an hour away from TOD which will give us some time for some group shots and a few fun runs. xRellx January 10th, 2007, 08:59 PM I didnt think anything about the dragon.. In that case guys, I will be there, but more than likely on the bike, unless I decide to put a hitch on the car Boomhower January 10th, 2007, 09:06 PM I didnt think anything about the dragon.. In that case guys, I will be there, but more than likely on the bike, unless I decide to put a hitch on the car Bike? In Feb?.....O wait, it should be getting back up around 70 by then. Should make for a good ride for ya.:D 9enisP January 11th, 2007, 12:11 PM Any time is good for me. I'll probably come up there the night before anyway and stay with a friend. We'll probably go out to the bars/clubs the night before if any of you guys wanna join us. I haven't seen the night life there yet, but there's gotta be something around UT.:Beer 9enisP January 11th, 2007, 12:30 PM Oh, Happy belated birthday Boomhower. GrayGhost1 January 14th, 2007, 08:38 AM I believe we can make it this time. I don't have any pending issues but you never know around our house. gt95coupe January 17th, 2007, 07:48 PM Hey Danny, We're down for the off season until the beginning of March. We do get out there occasionally and get a few shots, but no commitments, sorry. The store/gas station is closed for the off season and renovations as well. They should be open around early March. Hope you have fun! Best Regards, Darryl Cannon Well that sucks but I guess we can all bring cameras and post them on this site Boomhower January 17th, 2007, 08:26 PM I'm guessing this came from Killyboys?.....That does suck, but like you said, we can grab plenty of pics with our own cameras. gt95coupe January 18th, 2007, 08:47 AM yes it was killboy sorry thought i said that postalUT January 18th, 2007, 03:01 PM So we ARE confirmed for Feb 3? It should be fun!!!..... postalUT January 21st, 2007, 10:24 PM Ken, are you bringing your better half? 9enisP January 22nd, 2007, 02:06 AM Sounds good. I may bring my wife. Has anyone decided where we're meeting and/or eating? And just to be clear, we're meeting at noon right? Boomhower January 22nd, 2007, 11:11 AM Sounds good. I may bring my wife. Has anyone decided where we're meeting and/or eating? And just to be clear, we're meeting at noon right? You may? Boy 'ems fightin words @ my house. 12 is fine by me, & I think we would e better off eating somewhere on the west side of Knoxville. postalUT January 22nd, 2007, 06:27 PM I heard that, Hooters? gt95coupe January 23rd, 2007, 08:07 AM Not a Hooters fan. I want to eat where the food is good. Whats the name of the place with the Bull out front I think its in the lovell road area? Boomhower January 23rd, 2007, 08:30 AM Not a Hooters fan. I want to eat where the food is good. Whats the name of the place with the Bull out front I think its in the lovell road area? I'm not a hugh Hooters fan either.......Are you talking about Bull Fish Grille? gt95coupe January 23rd, 2007, 01:19 PM Yes. Is that good? never been there Boomhower January 23rd, 2007, 02:26 PM Yes. Is that good? never been there I never ate there. I've heard that they are a little more expensive than say applebee's or o'charley's, but it all depends how much everyone is willing to pay. The first time we meet we ate @ PF Changs so I don't really think it will matter. | |||||
