Well it looks like oil for sure is leaking from somewhere. I have jacked the car up and the oil plug, pan, filter is dry. The oil is dripping off of the back of the engine somewhere and onto the frame crossmember. This is really pissing me off that I cant pin point the leak. I heard valve covers are bad on these things but it doesnt look like any of them are leaking. PLease help. It looks like its dripping down the AC compressor.

Thanks guys

So is it the back or the front? (The AC compressor is in the front.) Get some of the oil that is on the compressor on your finger. Does it have a very faint yellow color to it? If so, it is AC compressor oil, leaking from the compressor.

My 04 did this recently. It wet the compressor, half the oil pan, and the crossmember behind the oil pan.

A general hint here too. When you have an under the car leak, trace it to its most forward point. Any liquid past that point is just where it blew back to when the car was in motion.

Hell, It oil is dripping off of the crossmember behind the engine. It looks like motor oil. As Soon as I changed the oil it seemed to start leaking or I just noticed it. It seems thin however and is not leaving a dirty stain but this motor is clean and the oil hardley gets dirty. What did you do to fix your leak?

Replace the AC compressor. $890 with labor. I noticed it when I was doing an oil change. Apparently, the AC system holds a fair amount of oil.
