i am a big ww2 buff, and i NEVER heard of somthing like that being used in that manner...it would be too inefficant, they would rather use bombs, or incindeary grenades on vehicles, but if stealth was the objective...they would use somthing on time delay instead. Mostly it was one of those, but sometimes they also did raids against airbases.
