Hello all! I kinda have a noob question.
How do you remove the air sensor in the factory air intake?
I finally received my cai from lskoncepts and i don't want to break anything else like i did for the km revcharger.
What is that hose called that conects to the valve cover into the air intake?
How do you remove this hose with the connector on the end?
I just need to know how and what i'm in store for when i take out the stock air intake for the lskoncepts one.
The hose that connects to the valve cover and then goes into stock air intake
i kinda broke the plastic piece right off of the stock intake and it left a hole where its supposed to go but i super glued it back on.
I didn't break the hose or the connector piece on end of it i broke where it connects on to stock plastic air intake.
If this wasn't connected right would it throw a check engine light?
Will it do any harm to my car if it wasn't connected properly?
Thanks guys!

It does but i'm not sure on how to disconnect that hose that goes into valve cover that connects to cai as well as temp sensor that connects in pipe right next to maf. The kkm had directions but while i was doing install i broke piece right out of the factory plastic intake where that hose connects to valve cover.
Oh yeah i have 2000 v-8. manual doesn't show or tell you how to disconnect hoses or lines in factory system. it does come with instructions...but doesn't show you how or what you need to disconnect hose to valve cover and the air temp sensor thats located on outside of intake next to maf.

shouldn't have to disconnect any wires for the KKM filter unless you're talking about the intake tube which I am installing tommorrow :P

I got everything installed, however that idle control hose was a bastard to put in new intake! The first hose(idle thingy)had to sand down the end of the hose in order for it to connect to the intake.
The car is now more responsive and oh the sound!
I can somewhat hear it but my exhaust is louder.
I also noticed the tone even through the exhaust got much deeper too.
Wasn't too happy with the rubber grommet for the air sensor.
It was somewhat loose and pray to god it still seals anyway.
Everything else went great except for the stupid hose for the idle air control thingy up by the throttle body.

how long did it take to get the Intake tube after you paid for it? It seems to be taking forever!
