IMO if you have a lincoln ls you should get some white guages .I like the green/blue ones they look sweet .I just installed a set and they make a big improvement over the stock guage setup. :steering

Where did you buy them and how much did they cost? I just picked up a 2004 LS Sport V6 yesterday and the guages are the only thing that I do not like in the interier. Where they easy to install?

You can either get them on eBay or from the Lincoln LS Owners Club for around $30-$40 depending on shipping and stuff. As for install, it's not that bad. On a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the most difficult the white gauge install is about a 3.5. You will have to take pretty much everything from underneath the steering wheel column down. Also, part of the steering wheel brace has to be loosened to almost taken off. After that four bolts hold on the instrument cluster. Once you have the intrument cluster out, there are four or five more screws holding the clear piece of the the cluster. The white face gauge just slides on but you have to be very careful with the needles.

There is only one caviat. MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT THE BATTERY BEFORE YOU BEGIN TO TAKE THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER OUT! If you don't you car will not start because it goes into security mode and locks down. The only way to get it to work is to have it towed to the dealer so they reprogram the PATS, keys and remotes.

It would take you about 2-3 hours to complete this project.

Either you have a V8 or don't have a "sport" model. Lincoln dropped the sport package from the V6 models in '03, much to the chagrin of many. If your dealer told you the '04 V6 has the sport package, he is mis-informed. Check your "sticker". The most optioned V6 would be the "premium".

In Canada they still call it the Sport Package. If you go to www.ford.ca select the LS you can see it. My Sticker says 2004 V6 Sport. I don't know why they name it different in Canada?

Yep I got mine from LLSOC .I got the ones that you can change green or blue .I personally don't like the blue and red they don't match with the car IMO.Install isn't to bad just make sure you put your steering wheel out all the way and down or it will be tight to get the cluster out. I also had to remove the plastic piece around the steering wheel .Wire them up to your dimmer switch so when you turn on your headlights then the gauges will kick on.I havn't seen the blue/green gauges on ebay just the other ones .Ya we still might have the sport but no 5speed what a waste we've been reduced to chev malibu status.

2000 LS6 5SPEED ...... can your girl drive stick no?????? :steering

The "Arrays" for 2004 totaled 4 for the US version and 9 for the Canadian version.
And yes you can get a Sport model V6 in Canada only.
You get the look (less chrome etc...) and stiffer springs, shocks and a thicker swaybar.... And the LS6 is the best handler... add the sport package to it and it really handles.
Its too bad they eliminated it in the US!
