Is it an easy job doing pads and rotors?anything I should look out for with the abs/and traction controll? its been years since I have done a brake job and never on a fwd car,but after geting a quote close to $1000 from dealer I figure I will break out the tools and do it myself!thanks in advance for any advice

It's an easy job. Just unscrew the two caliper bolts and remove the caliper. The rest is self-explanatory. You do not need new rotors unless there are gashes in the originals, they have been turned past specs., or there is vibration indicating warping. If you want to replace them, I would recommend Bremo. Also, Napa Ultra Premium rotors are a good value with a lifetime warranty against defects (which I understand includes warping). I happen to be using Napa's Ultra Premiums with Napa brake pads.
