It was grudge night. That Cobra ended up running pretty consistant 12.40's...claimed he missed a shift...which i dont doubt. No one ever said you have to know how to shift a $30k Mustang!

Anyway...I have driven 9 second drag cars...so trust me when i say...these video's are for "entertainment" purposes. Definately NO times I am proud of...but stabbing .525 lights all night was fun.

Just sad that I cross the stripe in 2 nd gear.

I cant say much...that gold camaro that smacked my black gen 1 was the last car I raced...my tranny went bye-bye on the return road(forward clutch seals leaked...tranny was pretty hot...I even had a decent cooler-pretty sad a stock, JMOD' tranny cant make 3 passes without taking a dump...of course, it had 80k on it, and it is a pre-98 trans...which are all garbage as far as I;m concerned).

Need to get the new set up down the strip one of these days. problem is...its a waste of time drag racing a stock, 3.08-geared one-legger. best i could ever hope for is a 14.90.

That aint drag racing...thats trying to go 1320 feet in less than 15 seconds.
