KD00LS April 11th, 2009, 12:39 AM Your car looks awesome man, great photos. I gotta get my hands on some of that 3M stuff you're using, interested in selling any?
Andrizzle April 11th, 2009, 01:02 AM That looks great!
Im not so sure of the tilted pics in the garage, they look good, but they're kinda annoying to look @.
oandtmaster April 11th, 2009, 01:25 AM got mine dropped and tinted 3 weeks ago. cell phone pics....

thanks man, my cars actually pretty dirty right now i only cleaned the wheels, you cant tell in the pictures though and 3m massively cut their employee pricing store, im guessing due to the economy, the only detailing product I can get discounted now is their liquid wax which isnt very good
PetesSweets86 April 11th, 2009, 01:49 AM Damn that silver is nice...you did with your grille that I wanted to do
JWerner2 April 11th, 2009, 08:14 AM God damn! What camera do you have?
Lucky_Ls April 11th, 2009, 08:49 AM Looks great!
How do you like the Sprint Springs so far? Any rubbing or bottoming out with the stock tires and rims?
KD00LS April 11th, 2009, 09:37 AM thanks man, my cars actually pretty dirty right now i only cleaned the wheels, you cant tell in the pictures though and 3m massively cut their employee pricing store, im guessing due to the economy, the only detailing product I can get discounted now is their liquid wax which isnt very good
Ouch that sucks man, they make some good polish.
pektel April 11th, 2009, 09:49 AM +1 for 3m Ultrafina. I have yet to buy a bottle though.
Looks NICE with the springs, dave.
And werner, it's probably not just the camera. IIRC, dave was going to school for photography. And by the looks of it, he's paying attention in class :D
Velo April 11th, 2009, 11:14 AM Loos like a nice LS but maybe I am gettting too old as my car looks the same after a proper wash. Again what it up with lowering and tinting the windows.
Also the debadging why not let everybody know you ar driving a American made Lincoln aka Jaguar instead od driving a fricking ricer. Just my opinion.
pektel April 11th, 2009, 11:23 AM I have my windows tinted 50%. Not dark by any means, but it really helps out on the sunny days for my kid in the back.
Lowering this car gives it the aggressive stance that a lot seem to like. I just lowered my car too. Now it doesn't look a damn 4 wheel drive sedan.
tbaylinc April 11th, 2009, 11:31 AM i love how clean the car looks in those pics, looks like they belong in the broucher or something
pektel April 11th, 2009, 11:40 AM Yes, what editing software do you use, Dave?
davehimself April 11th, 2009, 11:59 AM Looks great!

i like them, the ride is the same as before as far as i can tell, no rubbing and no bottoming out yet

I just drooled with this pic...simple and elegant...love it!! The only thing you need now is an LSE Rear Spoiler and a McLaren Grille ohh and 03+ foglights retrofit and ur done
Tastefully!!
davehimself April 11th, 2009, 12:06 PM Yes, what editing software do you use, Dave?
i use photoshop cs4, and for car shots like these i use a plug-in called lucisart which is basically an technique of sharping to really get the images to pop like this one of my friends passat

JWerner2 April 11th, 2009, 12:11 PM Nice skills! I had a point and click, now I have nothing but with the point and click I found it hard to use sharpening or it distorted the pic to much and all I could do to clean up the pics was edit it in light room and use Imaginomix noise filtering. I assume you dont really have to worry about noise filtering with the type of camera used?

no i dont really have to worry, old point and shoots did have big problems with noise but newer models are much improved, if i had to recommend one i would go with a canon g10
JWerner2 April 11th, 2009, 12:24 PM thanks. I not getting a camera any time soon..lol! They cost to much and I really wanna save for a good one that I can use different lenses on.
pektel April 11th, 2009, 12:26 PM I got my used Canon Rebel XT for 325 insured/shipped. Couldn't pass that up! Now I just need some different glass. I only have the kit lens (18-55mm f3.5-5.6)
pektel April 11th, 2009, 12:27 PM Suppose I'll have to go download a trial version of CS4...
pektel April 11th, 2009, 12:29 PM Okay... I'm confused. Which one do I try?

You picked the best LS color!!!!!!!!!
NYC LS8 April 11th, 2009, 01:08 PM Looks good! Like the grille, too!
PetesSweets86 April 11th, 2009, 02:12 PM You picked the best LS color!!!!!!!!!
Silver & Black are best foo! Only colors that speak for both luxury/sporty :-D
LEOV5 April 11th, 2009, 08:01 PM I can't do black too DIRTY, as for silver that was my second choice for the LS. But we already have a silver Mountaineer, that would be too much silver at home. The Lt Tundra Metalic really gets attention. It seems to change color at nite and sunset.
3.9Style April 11th, 2009, 10:44 PM +1 for the D300! GREAT choice! Now all you need is a D3x...!
Great pictures, great car, thanks!
RollinLS April 12th, 2009, 12:09 AM
I like it.
