Lincoln Luebbe March 18th, 2009, 03:57 PM Check out this website, they show a listing for the 00-02 AND 03-06 Halos.
I saw a how to on youtube from these guys and checked out their website by luck!
They claim all their products are model specific!

JWerner2 March 18th, 2009, 04:45 PM The brand is good but those pics look like hey are both Gen 1's.
pektel March 18th, 2009, 04:46 PM And you still have to cut open the lights, not just heat them up like the grey sealant ones.
NYC LS8 March 18th, 2009, 04:49 PM What Pete said. The problem isn't find halos, because Umnitza makes them. You still have the task of getting the lights apart in the first place. Far too much work, IMO, for something that may blow/die out in a few month's time.
Quik LS March 18th, 2009, 05:17 PM Several Gen2 already did this......
LS4me March 18th, 2009, 05:35 PM Too much BMW-like to me. If one wants a BMW one should just buy one in the first place.

Who cares if BMW's have them. Why should that be the reason why you should buy a BMW over a LS?
Lincoln Luebbe March 18th, 2009, 08:31 PM It's not that I want it to look like a BMW. I just think they give the front end a little more personality. It was my understanding that no one made a 03-06 kit currently. Umnitza claimed the X5 kit worked but the most recent info from them said they weren't sure what they sold to the select few who got the custom kit from them and it would take like 150 orders for them to even consider making one up for it.
BTW those kits are supposed to last for the lifetime of the car if I read it right. If companies can take the lights apart for a fee, why can't we? I Ray and others did it then it is definately possible and all the more rare-
Let's face it I can count on one hand how many 2nd gener's have halo's on here. Tint, springs, rims, Xcal, exhaust, CAI and stereo are about the only things you can do!
I thought people would be excited :(
PetesSweets86 March 18th, 2009, 08:45 PM I still hate how you have to keep replacing the Umnitza halos...sounds annoying and the fact I live in cold weather will affect them even more....
JWerner2 March 18th, 2009, 08:51 PM Some people have that problem and some dont. LEDs are most likely flawless.
I hear yah Lincoln Luebbe. I just new of Oracle previously.:)
PetesSweets86 March 18th, 2009, 08:56 PM Whats' the reviews on these guys?

All I'm saying is if one wants to look like a BMW one should buy one in the first place. Kind of like putting a Mercedes grille on a Pinto, or a Continental kit. The thing I like best about the LS is I don't see myself in my mirror all day long. Out here BMWs are a dime a dozen.
Personal preference is what it is and what one does to their car is up to them.

Well ppl buy the Chrysler 300s when they are RR immitators and PPL will buy the Hyundai Genesis cause it looks and performs like a Mercedes....
...so really...What's your point?
Even acura's and dodge's have halo eyes :P
JWerner2 March 18th, 2009, 09:28 PM If you say so. My point is that there is more to a car than those few simple things ( grille, halo DRL's etc..etc. ) therefore I just feel that statement is not valid. The first gen lse front bumper looks almost exactly like some BMW bumpers;)
Changing one thing dont make it look like another car nor should it make others assume you would rather own that car.
kwazy March 18th, 2009, 10:21 PM i want angel eyes on my ls but i dont want a bmw

they are the oracle kit
PetesSweets86 March 19th, 2009, 12:50 AM I hope the Oracle does better than Umnitza...I've heard of VERY bad customer service from them...be it going with Ken or not.....my dealer refuses to do them
JWerner2 March 19th, 2009, 08:40 AM they are the oracle kit
I know that. Im saying thats why I left the reply I had.
LeaSr77 March 19th, 2009, 12:46 PM Several Gen2 already did this......
+1 on that. I'm going to take a nap, lol!
Andrizzle March 20th, 2009, 07:55 PM So did OP order these? or what? Where are you guys getteing the 03+ angel eye kits from? I searched, but nothing
Lincoln Luebbe March 20th, 2009, 10:05 PM There is a link in my original post...
Andrizzle March 20th, 2009, 10:22 PM ^^ yea but some of the replies here indicate that maybe people got them from somewhere else before?
Does anyone know the measurements of the rings, perhaps you could peice your own together for less than 200 bucks????
Sorry im just really confused about where to get the right sizes for the 03+ for the best price
Lincoln Luebbe March 21st, 2009, 07:42 AM The only person I know of who made their own is 02V8Sport and he had Umnitza send him a bunch of rings and tired them all out until he found a good combination. Everyone else I know that has them sent them off the Lightwurkz or Umnitza to have them done. 02V8Sport is still on here occassionally but he doesn't have his LS anymore. I certainly don't think it would be cheaper than 200 but you could PM him as get the details if are really interested. And as far as I know no one else sells a kit made for the 03-06 LS, they could just peice together parts of other kits made for BMWs from everything I have read in the past 2 years or so about it on here.
