Well I started working on the coil conversion with my dad *Katshot* and we got them all done in around 2 1/2 hours and boy did it make a difference in how the cars looks but in my case how the car rides. As some of you know I was having a problem with my airbag suspension. Something was wrong with it and it cuased the airbags to over inflate and then blew my struts. So instead of paying $1200 to get the fronts replaced I just did the conversion and it is worth every penny! So I have some before and after pics. But I just want to thank Suspension-Alternatives for the great customer service and quick shipping. I would recommend them to eveybody if you are looking to do the conversion in the future. But enough with the talking here's the before & after pics. Enjoy! :Beer :L

Looks good. Keep us posted on how it feels on the road. I am thinking of purchasing another Mark in the future, and may want to go that route. :Beer

Well after getting it finished I took it for a ride and it rode great. Nice smooth ride that was better IMO then the air ride. Like I said this is a most definate most have for all Mark VIII owners. Because it will save you so much more money in the long run then having to spend all that money to get the air ride fixed.

Well, I have replaced my entire suspension (with the exception of the rear bags) and it did not cost me anywhere near $1200. But, I did buy the car for the air suspension, so that is just me. :Beer

Congrats with the conversion, may you have many miles of enjoyment, have you noticed the the car sits level now? Prior to my doing the conversion my car and every other Mark I saw appeared to look lower in the front, since the conversion my car sits perfectly level, its a gr8 look, I ordered a rear sway bar from supercoupeperformance.com it should be here by Friday, I'm hoping that it will enhance the handling. Again gl with your car !!!
