Steering wheel adapter for a Pioneer deckchrisc0727 March 8th, 2009, 03:50 PM anyone every install one? lseguy March 8th, 2009, 05:12 PM Yes. This is what you need. Easy install. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5319_PAC+SWI-PS.html?utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=froogle 3fletch March 8th, 2009, 05:15 PM You should be able to get a unit made by PAC called SWIPS. I believe that is correct.... It will wire into the stereo wires and will allow use of the stock steering wheel controls. I got mine from Crutchfield for my 2006 F250 and it works great on my pioneer nav system... This link should take you there... www.crutchfield.com/S-kqXyNgj2paT/p_127SWIPS/PAC-SWI-PS.html This link is for the installation instructions http://www.pac-audio.com/instructions/SWI-PS.pdf Good luck chrisc0727 March 8th, 2009, 07:16 PM i have the adapter, and it was not working when i tried to install it yesterday, i dont know what the problem could be but im going to be tryin it again 3fletch March 8th, 2009, 07:41 PM I had a bit of trouble when I did mine also. I would recommend that you start your car and turn all the electronics on when you go through the set up steps. The unit senses voltage changes and with all of the electronics in the Lincoln I would think it to be best to have them all on when setting up. This helped me on mine... Good luck... 1LoudLS March 9th, 2009, 10:15 AM i have the SWI-PS, had no problems programming it, the only problem is that there is a small delay when you press the button (not so much a delay after the button is pressed as much as you need to hold the button for 1/2 sec before it starts to work) 3.9Style March 9th, 2009, 11:01 PM Yes.
