Not rare at all. I believe it was one of the more common colors for 1993 although you don't see that many of them anymore. My 93 is cranberry metallic, I didn't really care for it at first but now I think it is one of the more interesting colors that Lincoln came out with. It tends to change hues depending on the type of light it is exposed to. Under Sodium lights it turns dark to medium gray, at night under low lights it looks black, and in bright sunlight the different color metallic flakes really pop.

At first i was secptical of a purple car but when i went and looked at mine (cranberry metallic) i thought it was great and after a few impounds and couple years i still love it come summer im lookin to get it repainted the same color but no crappy macco job

its not rare so to speak but a one year color only. my buddy owns one and i repainted it for him last year.

same color as my first mark viii which was a 93,only mine had black interior. wish i had it back!
