Another P0301 code question.....

I have a 96 Continental, it started running rough and now gives the P0301 code. I have replaced all spark plugs and all injectors. While replacing the plugs I noticed oil in the plug galley so I know I will be replacing the valve cover gaskets now.

Car still runs rough and throws P0301 after replacing above mentioned parts. I have good spark and there is no change in engine performance (or lack of) when I disconnect injector #1 electrical connector. I do get a significant change when I disconnect other injectors though.

Any ideas?

well, oil on plug 1 will also cause a misfire.. that may be the issue.

Yup, I thought about that but what I failed to mention was that the oil was on plug #2.
