My compressor seems quite loud when it kicks on, any way to quiet it down? Is there any way to oil it?

The mounts may be bad. Usually the cause. You can get new ones fairly cheap from AmericanAirSuspension.com

turn up the radio and roll up the windows.

Mine is barely noticeable with the radio on at a normal volume... I'd say replace the mounts.

either the mounts or the compressor itself

When I picked up the Navigator, the 1st thing I noticed was the loud compressor. I ordered and installed a set of mounts from AmericanAirSuspension and I cannot hear it at all now. The original mounts were fubared.

For preventative maintenance I also installed a mini-spyder valve and a new dryer.

I will admit to using the simple and easy radio solution.........

That is the real fix for a lot of car problems.... squeaky serpentine belt, knocking engine, whining power steering pump....
