Jumppy First Gear In My '04 LSesalomander February 16th, 2009, 12:18 PM Hey All, I have a 2004 Lincoln LS that is shifting very odd in first gear. Symptom: If I do not stomp on the gas from a stop the car is "jumpy" until it shifts into 2nd gear. Any ideas? FYI, the car is still under warranty. It is really weird, it only does this when I keep the RPM's low in 1st gear. Other then that the vehicle drives like a million bucks. Cheers! All LSes start in 1st gear. Just Gen1s don't with SST.
