I failed to read up on them before purchasing the coils, and now Im finding all kinds of bad remarks about them on here. So my question is, what kind of issues should I be looking for? I bought all 8 of them!

so I searched Global-Automotive, and it seems some ppl here have had bad experiences, and some have had good ones.

Has ANYONE gotten these coils for a 00-02 LS that fit right?? thanks.

After seeing some people say the turnaround time is slow (up to ~3 weeks), I figure the heck with it and just went with brand new Visteon coils for $36 a pop. Working like a charm so far.

Some people have said their experience was fine. It seemed like a recent thing that so many (me included) had problems with them. I had to eat the 150 bucks because I resold the ones I got after they took so long to arrive (I just bought from TeamFord instead), and the guy I sold them to couldn't get the plugs to fit because they weren't even the right size.

That's where I got mine from. They seem to work ok.

Do you remember how long it took to get them? I ordered mine Monday and wanted to put them in Saturday.

I think they come fast enough. It's just that if they're the wrong size/type, it apparently takes quite awhile to get 'em exchanged.

I just stopped by my house for lunch and they're already in. I bought/paid Monday morning and they were on my doorstep before 1pm today.

Does anyone know if these are right for an 05 V8? Mine have a black label on top and I've read about some coils being too tall.

I installed my coils from alanisdeals on ebay last night. All 8. The car feels like it's new again. Just fyi if you need coils.

Got my coils from Global Automotive yesturday and placed them in just fine. Took about 5 days to arrive... Maybe they are getting better??

I replaced the plugs with some Bosch's also.. drives like new now :steering

For some reason..many here dont like Bosch plugs. I put Bosch platinums in about 2 years ago now. No problems at all.

well I can understand how some ppl here may be "anti" bosch, because they do seem to sell some of the cheapest plugs. But like the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.

On the other hand... I opted to go with the Bosch platinum plugs with 4 prongs and no gapping required (ran about 8 buck each). I must say, I really was impressed, also I enjoyed not having to take time to gap all 8 of them!!

The 4 prong plugs are known for grounding to well and blowing out coils. just a fyi

If the option is there I wouldn't run anything but NGK in anything.
