babbster February 9th, 2009, 07:38 PM Picked this up about a month ago, I love it. It is a blast to drive. Dont have any real big plans for it yet. Only things I have done are drilled and slotted rotors and led interior lights and license plate lights. I clayed the entire car and used pinnacle fine swirl remover and pinnacle carnuba wax followed by two coats of NXT Tech Wax. It is an 03 Touring edition with 55k miles.
Let me know what you guys think, any suggestions would be great.
Not gonna touch the exhaust and dont want to do anything that has the potential to make it "ricey" and i know i know the stickers are coming off. the shop that did my rotors put those on.

babbster February 9th, 2009, 09:14 PM haha yea...thats what pretty much sold me on this car. the contrast of those seats and all the black.
JWerner2 February 9th, 2009, 09:17 PM Almost reminds me of my buddy's 94 FD3 ( RX-7). It has way more Saddle leather brown than black but looks freaking sick!
I love saddle leather brown.
Aquabrit February 9th, 2009, 09:18 PM Wouldn't you have prefered a manual (stick) in a sporty car like that?
JWerner2 February 9th, 2009, 09:20 PM Nit picker:p :D
Aquabrit February 9th, 2009, 09:22 PM Nah... Just wondered because all the ones I have seen were stick.
Not being critical.
Looks good to me, though.
JWerner2 February 9th, 2009, 09:32 PM I know, its just that I didnt even notice it and had nothing else better to do but leave a smart ass remark:shifty: :D
HyeLifeLS February 9th, 2009, 09:55 PM Nice, love the seats.
SPSully February 9th, 2009, 09:56 PM :cough: twin turbo :cough:
JWerner2 February 9th, 2009, 10:06 PM Auto is good for twin turbo but is the 03 touring a TT?
SPSully February 9th, 2009, 10:08 PM i dont think any came with turbos..... but they do make kits
JWerner2 February 9th, 2009, 10:10 PM Ok I see. I didnt think they did and after I posted I figured you were talking about bolting one on but I just waited for a reply.
SPSully February 9th, 2009, 10:19 PM yeah... I used to have a room mate with a G35... same car, same after market, different price tag
babbster February 9th, 2009, 10:33 PM yea for the first week my left foot kept pushing for a clutch but I figured its my only car so an auto was more practical. As for a turbo setup...idk if my pockets are deep enough. Might stick with more practical stuff, test pipes intake plenum spacer etc
xxdjdinot1989xx February 10th, 2009, 04:09 AM very nice choice bro a friend of mine is trying to sell his gti for a 350z really nice car are you still going to keep the LS or what.
babbster February 10th, 2009, 12:21 PM no I didn't keep the ls, I sold it the same time I picked this up. My ls was an 01 with87k miles and the clockspring issue and I got 5750 for it
PetesSweets86 February 10th, 2009, 12:24 PM i Laugh how he's asking for suggestions on his LS replacement in a LS forum....that'd be like a BMW or Merc guy walking in here and asking for suggestions :/
JWerner2 February 10th, 2009, 12:30 PM Well unlike you he is a friend to this community.:slam
DIE!
PetesSweets86 February 10th, 2009, 12:31 PM Well good to know you love the guy :/
Eric0508 February 10th, 2009, 01:17 PM Well unlike you he is a friend to this community.:slam
DIE!
ahahaha
pagluy February 10th, 2009, 01:47 PM i Laugh how he's asking for suggestions on his LS replacement in a LS forum....that'd be like a BMW or Merc guy walking in here and asking for suggestions :/
Yeah, he sure asked for our suggestions before he traded in the LS didn't he...
customgtrs February 10th, 2009, 04:22 PM Looks nice. I have a friend with one. They are fun to drive. You got it slick. You guys needs to try Eagle one Nano wax not the clear but the pump liquid. It is some amazing stuff.
babbster February 10th, 2009, 05:59 PM the reason why i ask for suggestions is bc some people on here have great taste and they are truly automotive enthusiast not just people who own an LS. I love the looks of an LS and took advice and suggestions from all sorts of people, from truck owners to guys with ride bikes. I dont think its all that weird to ask for suggestions.
Aquabrit February 10th, 2009, 06:04 PM Nothing wrong with that. I come on this site to be sociable and BS about cars in general, I'm sure there are others who are the same. Too much childishness in some of those other car forums... Better to stay here! :)
kustomizingkid February 10th, 2009, 06:07 PM I really like those cars... but an auto??
babbster February 10th, 2009, 06:12 PM Yea i know, alot of times I wish it were stick but its my only car and I do alot of stop and go driving in rush hour traffic. Auto was just more practical for me.
The Nissan forums are a joke. They are all pretentous (sp?) or want to talk crap about other peoples cars. Or even better guys who think their Z's can compete with much faster cars after a few little mods. But oh well, this website has been a huge help to me in the past, I wont find that with any nissna forums.
PetesSweets86 February 11th, 2009, 02:23 AM Well best of luck with mechanical data help......then again "he's part of the community"....might get some help :P
JWerner2 February 11th, 2009, 07:30 AM Idiot, Im sure he did not have any mechanical and technical data on his mind when he asked for suggestions.
You need to stop talking out your ass.
The guy is a cool guy and a good member and unlike you he keeps ass hole comments like the ones you spit out to his self.
Cant wait for the day you ask for advice. If you end up with the nerve to even ask.
PetesSweets86 February 11th, 2009, 11:35 AM nah, i'd rather let you keep running your mouth :P
and he said he was gonna stay on the forum, so means who's gonna help with nissan data. Another thing is too he already bought the nissan....he's not asking for any suggestions anymore....ya mook
JWerner2 February 11th, 2009, 11:55 AM Do you not see how many members here congratulated his new purchase? Mook!
Im sure some all around car guys here ( as stated ) would like to help out a fellow member. Hes still a member, why you became on I have no clue.
Take a look at how many other members purchased new cars and sold or traded the LS in. They still come here and lend a hand.
Another thing is too he already bought the nissan....he's not asking for any suggestions anymore.
Im hoping you attempt to decipher what the hell you were saying.
PetesSweets86 February 11th, 2009, 11:59 AM Funny you try throwing the same insult I gave you, back at me. haha
And I'm not saying he can't be a member. I'm just saying best of luck getting inquiries....
And DUH i can see how many ppl have congradulated him....this thread is 2 pages. As far as why I joined....good question.....hmmm.....do I have an LS? hmmm I dunno....maybe I got a gay ass Hyundai......maybe? Do I? I dunno you tell me.....
Eric0508 February 11th, 2009, 12:11 PM Its my conclusion that Petesweet has to be an alt created by another member. No one could be that inflammatory, short-sighted, and dense all at once over sooo many threads and posts.
To whoever is doing it... congratulations, you had me for awhile, but im on to you now.
JWerner2 February 11th, 2009, 12:14 PM No the guy is real. I proved it but the thread was removed I think.
PetesSweets86 February 11th, 2009, 12:20 PM Yup....haha I laughed when I came home and saw it was removed :P
But that is funny ppl would consider this a ghost member :P
babbster February 11th, 2009, 06:46 PM ...I didnt want mechanical suggestions or any help with mechanical stuff. I meant suggestions about doing things as far as looks. And im not gonna "hang around" the forum so guys can help me fix my car. I was going to hang around to keep up with what people are doing to their LS's.
PetesSweets86 February 11th, 2009, 09:50 PM I'd say body kit/paint job unless you want performance first...but that's what I'd do if I had a Nissan...go all Ricer on it and give it a body kit.....make it stand out...hell I see pet store/sporting good managers driving your basic 350z......make it special!
