Thinkin about going to the dark sideLSFantasy February 1st, 2009, 05:14 PM The guy's offering a sweet deal? Anyone know about these cars? Silver_LS February 1st, 2009, 05:19 PM I think they're nice cars. I'd own one :) only the V though. CTS-V gt95coupe February 1st, 2009, 05:34 PM Great choice I love those cars. King03LS8 February 1st, 2009, 05:44 PM I'd take it. chocolat1701 February 1st, 2009, 07:03 PM not my cup of tea but atleast your bying american. so go for it. 605RezlifeLS February 1st, 2009, 07:11 PM I love those cars, but I couldn't ever get rid of my LS for one of those. LSFantasy February 1st, 2009, 07:39 PM Its gonna be hard to part the LS, especially that I've almost got her paid off. This is a 5.7L V8, 6 speed manual. I'm sooo tempted!!!! Just have to hope I don't get laid off:D xxdjdinot1989xx February 1st, 2009, 07:42 PM GET IT! that looks so nice i want one myself but i don't have enough cash LSFantasy February 1st, 2009, 07:57 PM Check it out cadillackman February 1st, 2009, 08:21 PM is this an 04? They suffered from wheel hop pretty bad, the 05's & up were fixed. 02LS8Lincoln February 1st, 2009, 08:44 PM man thats a great looking car, id definatly own one of those. Ocala-LSguy February 1st, 2009, 08:57 PM Absolutely sweeet... (still love the LS though) Gus_Mahn February 1st, 2009, 10:49 PM They're neat cars but are kinda crappy IMO. They are fast and fun to drive, but they do have their share of issues. The interior seems pretty chincy to me. The door panels squeak when you lean on them, way more than most Ford products. The shifter is horrible, but there are nice aftermarket replacements. lincoln_1999 February 2nd, 2009, 01:14 AM The guy's offering a sweet deal? Anyone know about these cars? The cadillac CTS is a nice car but before you buy one check with any Cadillac CTS forum to give any valuable information and ask a bout the maintenance and the parts like brakes , spark plugs ,etc.... good luck :) oh by the way you have an awesome red 05 LS V8 . TDUB February 2nd, 2009, 02:04 AM I love CTS-Vs especially with the mesh grille. SPSully February 2nd, 2009, 06:34 AM the cts comercial is why i wont get rid of my LS.... "when you turn your car on, does it return the favor?" jolinc01 February 2nd, 2009, 07:55 AM the cts comercial is why i wont get rid of my LS.... "when you turn your car on, does it return the favor?" That's only if you opt'd for the special $7500 seat upgrade. On another not my LS does something to me when I turn it on in the winter. I think it's just the snow that falls on the seat from opening the door though.:shifty: Rodewaryer February 3rd, 2009, 05:41 AM As always the skeptic, I cannot find a good angle on that car and I'll even admit when I like an, ahem, asian design. The Caddy looks slapped together, hastily designed. The previous generation of their cars before this angular foldem-up designer usurped the throne were better looking cars and had me thinking something a lot better than this was coming along....but it's a nice color and it is afterall, American..... :-) bgr February 3rd, 2009, 05:59 AM :yuck: Terrible looking IMO. Now the XLR is another story. The 4 door just looks to boxy. rubberducky700 February 3rd, 2009, 09:38 AM :yuck: Terrible looking IMO. Now the XLR is another story. The 4 door just looks to boxy. The XLR is a waste, BY a vette, its cheaper. As for the CTS-V. they first year had some issues in electrical areas, not sure about the bugs or if they ever worked them all out. the 05's and up are bad ass. the only cts i would by. they are built better IMO then the std cts. i rode in a cts with a v-6 and was not too impressed. lots of cool gadgets but it was 2 years new then my ls and rode rougher, louder, and just seemed lightly built inside. The CTS-V is cool, i would respect you for that move. scjmc February 3rd, 2009, 10:21 AM The cadillac forum on this site is barren. I will be getting an 07 CTS-V in a couple of years when the LS has a ton of miles on it. rubberducky700 February 3rd, 2009, 10:24 AM just get an 09 you know its what you really want NYC LS8 February 3rd, 2009, 10:27 AM Why is this car not in your driveway yet??? rubberducky700 February 3rd, 2009, 10:28 AM waiting on the bank, DUHHH rainjacks February 3rd, 2009, 10:45 AM I think CTS's are nice. I was seriously weighing the CTS and LS. I don't remember the year of the CTS I was looking at, but side by side the LS was less expensive, had more HP, and got better gas mileage. bgr February 3rd, 2009, 10:54 AM I think CTS's are nice. I was seriously weighing the CTS and LS. I don't remember the year of the CTS I was looking at, but side by side the LS was less expensive, had more HP, and got better gas mileage. and pulls more ladies.....:D tubbyLS6 February 3rd, 2009, 11:21 AM i want it i'll trade my ls for a cts-V glanga February 3rd, 2009, 11:49 AM Go for it. I had one and it never disappointed. I still have some pics in my member's gallery I think. I'm waiting on some 09 V's to come off of leases to pick one up used. The only reccomendation I'd give if you get one is to ditch the run flats for some high performance summers and buy a full size spare and tire. $300 run flats are useless when your farther then they are rated for going when flat. SPSully February 3rd, 2009, 01:08 PM i think someone should buy me one of the new ones! And get Tommy one too! pektel February 3rd, 2009, 01:26 PM The new ones are the secks. The old ones... not so much. scjmc February 3rd, 2009, 02:11 PM just get an 09 you know its what you really want +1 09s have 553HP. ChaChing! Beamer February 3rd, 2009, 02:54 PM hope ya get it, I got to drive one around for a week while a friend came down, I was not all about them but after being behind that wheel for awhile that changed. SPSully February 3rd, 2009, 03:01 PM i agree.... now buy me one! Beamer February 3rd, 2009, 03:36 PM Or you can get me the coupe :) rainjacks February 3rd, 2009, 03:51 PM I was interested in them after seeing the one on the Highway chase scene in Matrix Reloaded (that is the name of the second one right?). Because we all know that everything you see in movies is real; I figured if a CTS can run after that much abuse and that many bullet holes it must be the worlds most reliable car. SPSully February 3rd, 2009, 03:57 PM lmao! we should see about getting a group buy together LOL glanga February 4th, 2009, 12:36 PM Big difference to me between the CTS and CTS-V. The body is the same but the CTS has great styling cues. The arched fenders, great looking wheels, grille, brakes. The only thing I didnt like about the CTS was the center stack which is changed in the CTS-V with the addition of the Nav unit standard. That and sueded inserts and to me it was a completely different car than the base CTS. LSFantasy February 5th, 2009, 11:49 PM Now, I have to decide between the wife and this car!!:shifty: PetesSweets86 February 6th, 2009, 01:16 AM I would consider a CTS-V if it wasn't for them being all over the streets just like the Beemers.....I'd rather have something someone around my age doesn't normally have and take something out of the ordinary and make it unique. I got some guys who are going to make a complete front from scratch which will look alot better than the CTS grille.......plus I'm not the biggest fan of box-looking cars...like the new cadillacs...... PetesSweets86 February 6th, 2009, 01:17 AM Now, I have to decide between the wife and this car!!:shifty: well think of this "when you turn on your car, does it return the favor?"...you could replace your car with the wife...you can then reap the benefits of having a new wife, that you'd enjoy getting tuned up....and you can drive her hard without her complaining :P LSFantasy February 7th, 2009, 12:10 AM Lol!!!! | |||||
