how do i remove the door molding that runs up and down which is next to the window. You usually put your hand on it when closing the door. Some people chrome it. I need to get it off, but i am not sure what is holding it on.

You have to remove the trim at the bottom of the window, and there's a screw somewhere in there that holds it in place but I forget where exactly. I had asked the same question about a year ago while planning to paint mine, but I never got around to it.
