tagliato22 January 29th, 2009, 06:32 PM why does it make a difference if the rims were made for fwd or rwd?
JWerner2 January 29th, 2009, 06:41 PM Usually FWD is associated with high offset.
LsUnV2 January 29th, 2009, 06:41 PM it doesnt, normally it says that to indicate the offset. for instance i have been told our cars are rear wheel drive with a fwd offset. thats why its hard to find wheels that fit......i think
luttersj January 29th, 2009, 06:49 PM it has to do with the offset. some RWD cars, LSs included, are actually considered FWD by wheel makers due to the offset.
JWerner2 January 30th, 2009, 12:15 AM Well, hmmm I can spit farther than both of you:p :p :p :p :p :p :p
:D
Silver_LS January 30th, 2009, 04:00 AM It says the offset is 45.. whats our factory wheel offset? Will these stick out more or be in farther?
pektel January 30th, 2009, 09:04 AM They will stick out further than stock, but still be inside the fender. 45 is a nice offset for the LS.
Silver_LS January 30th, 2009, 09:12 AM Its temping cause they do look nice, but not sure about the size, sometimes I think my factory 17's are kinda small looking
04lincolnls January 31st, 2009, 05:51 AM im lookin at getting some rims for a 2004 ls can i get 22's to fit with no problem
Former Member January 31st, 2009, 04:24 PM its hard to find wheels that fit because very few companies offer a 5x108 bolt pattern.
