Are the hoods of the Mark VIIIs interchangeable ? Reason I'm asking is I'm going to talk to a fiberglass fabricator to see if it will be worth it to have 10 - 20 hoods made up, like the one Geno has on his car. I'd like to take a poll to see how many in here would be interested in purchasing one. ty, your input would be appreciated.

you have to match the generations, Gen1 for Gen1 and Gen2 for a Gen2

What yrs is gen1 and ditto for 2 ? I'd also like some input on who would be interested in purchasing 1 . :feedback

Gen 1 = 93-96
Gen 2 =97-98

BTW, I would be VERY interested in the "Cobra R" style hood like Stra Dog has on his mark VIII.(a gen 1, BTW). I dont really care for the "Old school GM-style" cowl hood on Geno's car. Dont get me wrong...it looks awesome, but if were to shell out $$$ for a custom hood, I'd opt for the Cobra R hood.

You said "might be interested in purchasing one". if you are referring to HOODS, for purchase, you need to search ebay, or find someone parting out a car. Gen 1 hoods sell for about $150 on ebay.
