LsUnV2 December 15th, 2008, 05:26 PM looks good but i dont like the chrome surround on the grille. paint that to match it and it would look awesome 02LincLS December 15th, 2008, 05:27 PM Just added a chrome mesh to my grill and just wanted to know what you guys think. 39387 I took this picture with my Blackberry Storm also. i think it would look better black... too much chrome up front but its all personal opinion it may be okay if the surround was painted body color. The Hotness December 16th, 2008, 04:12 AM Good quality picture, and pretty creative work. I would have painted the chrome and the mesh. lol HyeLifeLS December 16th, 2008, 04:13 AM likes! gt95coupe December 16th, 2008, 02:03 PM Dislikes. go with a 2nd gen LSE grill. JWerner2 December 16th, 2008, 02:23 PM +1^ Either McLaren if mesh is a must or keep it OE with a LSE grille. But its yours so.... whats it matter;) ? lincoln00 December 16th, 2008, 02:48 PM I like it... looks clean NYC LS8 December 16th, 2008, 03:01 PM Eh. LSE grille would look better, IMO. cammerfe December 16th, 2008, 03:07 PM I have the same grille addition, but have a Sport, so I don't have as much chrome as you do. Since I know that the mesh is not anchored at all the wire ends, I can see them. Therefore, I have thought of using some sort of caulking to hide the loose ends. I haven't looked, but probably one could find some black stuff to carefully squirt on by going to Lowes or Home Depot. What do you think? KS JWerner2 December 16th, 2008, 03:29 PM I have said it before:D ,... just hunt down a 2 piece 2nd gen grill and remove the center and replace it with the mesh. That will really be the only presentable way. slabls December 16th, 2008, 05:40 PM its okay, but i'd prefer a mclaren or 2nd gen lse grill RollinLS December 17th, 2008, 10:57 AM Its creative. Looks good. I like it. The "chrome" thing is a personal choice thing. As long has you like. It all good. TDUB December 17th, 2008, 11:22 AM between the license plate, the front bumper, and the grille there's way too much chrome. I would say paint the grille to match the car. rainjacks December 17th, 2008, 11:54 AM Sorry, not my thing. Gottie December 17th, 2008, 02:06 PM I have the same grille addition, but have a Sport, so I don't have as much chrome as you do. Could you post of picture of yours. LongIslandLSE December 17th, 2008, 02:53 PM first gen lse, yeah im kind of partial to those since i have one. fonsito December 17th, 2008, 08:10 PM go black!!! please!! TDUB December 17th, 2008, 09:20 PM Yeah black would look sick as well. I just barely took my black mesh off, I'm going to have it painted with the car when I get the LSE kit installed. Right now I have my blacked out McLaren on so I can sand the black off of the pieces for the mesh grille. TDUB December 17th, 2008, 09:21 PM Lol I just realized I said black a lot in that post. | |||||
