yup, still working good, and thats the little secret that allows me to run the twin compressor set up

chicken, do you have any info somewhere on your twin compressor setup? I'm interested in knowing what your doing and why as well.

Spider Valve is a great purchase... prolongs the life of the compressor... Chicken do you have 2 on yours LOL...

nope just 1 spider v1, but that is needed to equalize the psi between the 2 comps, with out that, the twins would be a nightmare to get working correctly, since the stock sys airs the front first
i also thought about getting 2 of the navi spider valves and putting them together

why couldnt you just piggy back one off the other (stock compressors) using lines and a valve so they both filled at the same time.

or have two seperate ones (one for front, one for back) and i dont know how you could get it to work with the computer but i'm sure you could get it to manually fill the back at the same time with a simple on/off switch...

ideas, ideas...now you have me thinking, i would like the fact of having a second on board compressor

I was actually working on figuring out the wiring for this type of setup. I was looking at installing a second compressor in the trunk strictly for the rears, I just never have sat down to finish figuring out all the wiring that would need to be done.

The problem is the 1 sec delay before the system opens the bag solenoids, this pressurizes the lines and helps take the sudden load off the compressor. Think about it, you have the weight of the car trying to push the air back out of the bags while the compressor is trying to force air into them. If you just open the solenoid and fire the compressor at the same time, it's putting a little more load on the compressor, hence wearing out the compressor quicker.

You'll also notice that once the front is filled, the solenoids close, there's a small delay and then the rear solenoids open. That one second delay involves some circuitry to duplicate. I've been working on a simple time-delay circuit for my "manual control kit" but haven't got it dialed in just right yet.

yeah thats all just too complicated for me, doing it my way the car has no idea that there is another compressor.
it kinda is a piggyback setup i just swapped the 4 port drier for 2, 2 port driers
and 96 ive been meaning to ask whats up with your avatar? someone is gonna think your a old man lol
