Anyone know how to do this?

Basicly I swapped out the two front air struts and need to know how to disable them, so the compressor doesnt keep trying to fill them.

What do you mean by disable? what year is it? the air ride button in the trunk, when turned off, should shut down the whole system, thats why it's there.

Did you swap the air for coils?

To make a long story short , I recieved the wrong parts. So I swapped the front "air struts" out for the shock/ spring combo (conversion) Basically Im trying to keep the air ride in the rear for the time being. I've heard you can somehow disable the front. Allowing you to have the air ride system still work on the rear. (Yes Im familiar with the switch in the trunk and have been using this feature.

Ok, just checking, the post seemed kind of vague to me, so i wanted to make sure.

Anyways, Truth be told you may be better off changing out the lines and compressor. I personally don't know how to rig it up in such a way, but i remember reading about swapping in a Compressor from a Lincoln Town car, or a 97 and newer conti since they only have rear air struts. Problem is i can't remember where I read it at. I'll look around the site and a couple others for ya and see what i can find.

You can also search it yourself, it was a forum thread, on which forum i don't know, it was one of the lincoln forums though. might have been lincolnsonline. Look for air suspension conversion, or similar key words.
