Does anyone know if a radio from an 04 LS will fit my 00 LD. I found a Radio w/6disc CD player (in-dash). Mine has a am/fm cassete. They look like they are similar, but ?? Any info would be appreciated.

I'd be interested in this too... I'd like the 6 changer dash unit rather than driving and screwing around with the magazine in my lap...

the Alpine 6CD in-dash is designed for the 12 speaker audiophile system. there are two external amps in that setup - one for the rear subs and one for the center console speakers (which add presence through the DSP option).

although the unit will physically fit - the wiriing is different and not just a bolt in.

I might just go back to my regular Alpine then... at least I get my MP3 abilities back!
