Are there any? I'm looking for a cheap muffler/glass pack that would be comparable to the bullet or the mustang gt mufflers. Or i might just straight pipe it.

well sawed the muffs off today but still have to get it piped and tiped. Well as you probably know it sounds like the silver lsc in the vid. I like it on acceleration but up to about 15mph its pretty loud under normal driveing. Its a totally different car, though it could be just me but it seems slower. Granted i didnt have a good chance to mash it. All in all, i'll get it piped and see how it sounds. Lost about 50 lbs though.

would that be in place of the 3rd cat?

Also, when i pipe/tip it will the sound change in any way?

Yes, x pipe replaces 3rd cat.

I have a true dual with a magna flow dual in/out 3rd cat with no mufflers. Sounds good at idle, drives away sounding like a pick up truck. Drone @ 1800-2100 rpm, cruising speed, drives me crazy. Had 40 series magna flow muffs, trashed them in spin out into hayfield, so I'm on the muffler hunt again.

After lots of going back and forth I've decided to keep the stock muffs and tips....

I will be doing some cat/manifold/downpipe mods....

There's no point in getting 2 1/4 inch mufflers. They have to be welded on either way. The last video posted is funny, going full throttle on a wet road. I forgot that's possible to do in a stock Mark VIII. If I do that now with the 4.30's I will be on the side of the road LMAO.

mine is bone stock (for now just bought it :steering ) and even with the traction control on i was going up a hill and i punched it full throttle and broke the tires loose. it was a great thing...kinda
