Damn Mr. Lube!!!

Hey guys,

Well I needed to get an oil change and a rad system flush so I figured I'd hit the local mr. lube by my house since a friend of mine works there and he hooks me up pretty good. :D So I get there and get her oil changed up and the rad flush and all is good right? WRONG!!!! I get in my car after paying and everything and just as I start driving off my car starts to hesitate! DAMMMMMIT!!!!! Cylinder misfire! So I turn around (mind you I didnt even get the chance to leave the damn parking lot) and call up my buddy and show him under the hood (I took a peak real quick just before I turned around) and LO AND BEHOLD....the whole engine bay is wet with water. Apparently the kid that flushed out my radiator thought he was doing me a favor by washing my engine bay! I asked the dude if he didnt notice all the damn wires all over the place and he just stared in awe! lol Felt bad for the kid cuz I know he meant well...but I was so damn ticked off! So my buddy told me not to worry and I'm droppin it off tmr morning for them to fix it all up for free of course. :D
I'm just glad my buddy works there otherwise who knows if they would've taken the blame.

ps...to anyone who ever THINKS of cleaning the engine MAKE SURE u know what u're doing and have all the proper wiring covered before washing.

The only good thing to come out of all this is the fact that I have an excuse to take out the terminator one more time. :D

/\ thats GOLD! :D

Needless to say they fixed the problem and all is back to normal. They did exactly what kustomizingkid suggested. Its just a piss off thats all....I stored my cobra for winter and got her all waxed and perfect and then this crap happens. I had to work otherwise i wouldnt bother taking the car out. AH WELL! Atleast they manned up and fixed the problem.

Sounds good man...best time I got was a 12.8 with the cobra of course. bone stock with only exhaust. I wanna hit the 11's but definately need more power than just stock to hit that.
I saw a gen 1 mark 8 hit 12.4 at a local dragstrip. Didnt get the chance to talk to the driver as i was in the staging lanes...but it sounded like a :q BEAST!
