Eric ONEBADMK8 January 26th, 2005, 12:35 PM Its not that bad of a job. I have done it to Marks with the head on, just becareful. I use a slightly oil dampened rag to clean up the bigger debris that falls into the cylinder then I shop vac it out real good and turn the engine over with the plug out about 10 times. Lasts forever if done properly, just dont overtighten, thats how this happenes in the first place. hotrodlincoln93 January 26th, 2005, 04:28 PM its gotta be done right. its no big thing but can be if you screw up. way cheaper and easier than gettin new head or gettin it retapped. why, do you need it done? Eric Nope mine's still running on all 8, although the trans is starting to show some reaction to the way i've been driving it the past 3 years. I was just asking because i know someone with a 96 in need of such work. He's tryna sell it and im tryna hook him up wit a buyer, i just wanted to know what they'd be gettin into with it. Thanks chad ERIC1 January 26th, 2005, 04:32 PM no sweat and if hes close to me ill even give him a hand. Eric | ||||
