This article in the Edmonton Sun (in trying to not use the liberal leaning press, I have gone out of the country) reports the funny 'gaff' where Palin placed herself at the top of the ticket... (or was it some deep, subconscious ploy, or does she have 'plans' on the oval office after the election, or...)

So, let's face it, we all want it - Palin/McCain vs Clinton/Obama - now, there would have been a real race.

No an Obama/Clinton ticket would have wiped out McCain/Palin by a long shot.

I'm pretty sure she knows where she is on the ticket. That qualifies as barely a slip of the tongue. It's not as though she claimed that Roosevelt spoke to the nation on TV in 1929 or something.

An Obama/Clinton ticket is NOT a dream ticket.
It's a compilation of negatives.

And, just so you know, Canadian or European news sources are usually even more leftist than the mainstream American sources.

I was attempting to make a subtle point, obviously too subtle. All press is bias... (less subtle):)

But, perhaps not a dream ticket (Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama) for you - but a dream ticket for others!

Then the press should stop PRETENDING to be completely impartial and fair. The NY Times should say, "WE ARE LEFTIST. Buy our paper if you like." And stop perpetuating the lie that they are objective and even attempt to report fairly.

And apparently it wasn't the dream ticket for Obama either.
There was a reason why Obama didn't pick her.

She has outrageously high negatives.
She's a very polarizing figure. There is 16 years of opposition research available on her. Rezko and Whitewater, '08

Obama didn't select Hillary because his wife doesn't like her. Queen bee syndrome at its worst. There can be no other reason why Obama is willing to risk losing 18 million voters.

Not to be confused with President Obama
