Are the iron ones less prone so shatter? I'd imagine not being aluminum...or is it just better to run a girdle on the aluminum diff?

I've only ever seen 1 aluminum case actually "Shatter", and that was in a 99 Cobra with 4.56's and a T45 launching on 315 BFG Drag Radials. I think a worn rear diff mount actually led to the destruction more so than any case issue.
