how do i use it, and where do i find it!?

www.adobe.com (http://www.adobe.com/) or www.kazaa.com (http://www.kazaa.com/) if you go the kazaa route just SCAN the ENTIRE folder after its downloads. As far as using it goes, it takes a LONNNGGGG time to get to know.

beware of spyware on Kazaa. If you want to buy it I would recommend purchasing Photoshop Elements because its cheaper and it has all of the features a beginnner would need for a lot less $$$. If you want free you can also look into "The Gimp" which is an open-source photo editing program - but beware - big learning curve on that one.

Find a friend with it, its normally 600 bucks retail. My sis is a photographer, she uses it all the time and still couldn’t explain the how to's. Go to borders book and pick up the Photoshop for dummy’s that’s the best way to learn how.

the gimp, that doesnt look too bad...i have come across harder looking programs and have taken a good bite out of em. :eek2:

You can go to the Adobe site and downlload a free sample of photoshop for thirty days.
I use adobe photo deluxe that came with my former computer that had windows 98 on it.
To use it in xp, I had to download a parser from the adobe site to get it to work in xp.
Speaking for myself, I don't like photoshop.
It doesn't do all the things I can do with photo deluxe.
Unlike photo deluxe, I have never seen a folder on the main page in photoshop, where you can save cropped images or, for that matter, any image where all you have to do is click on the image and it opens so you can edit it.
In photo deluxe, you don't have to open a folder to see an image that is in the "hold" area on the main page.
It is shown all the time so you know at any time what photo you want to pull up to work on.
I will stay with photo deluxe.
Unfortunately, adobe no longer offers photo deluxe and that is ashame.
You may be able to find one on ebay.

You mean Photoshop 8.0 CS? I never heard of pro 8.

well i got the gimp, and i like it...havent had much time to get to learn to use it, but it seems good. especially for free.
