Check transmission light came on out of no where.. and when i was flooring the accelerator it would redline and wouldnt shift out of 1st gear. WTF!!

i just had the transmission sylenoid pack replaced in november..

what could be the problem..:confused:

did it just do it the one time and then go back to normal or is it still acting like that?

Can you manually shift it using SST?

I didnt try the SST. but wen it redlines and i let off the gas. and then press it again it will shift.. but acceleration is kind of sluggish also.. im also over due on an oil change ive noticed that in my car dirty oil will cause jerky shifts. idk why., but everytime i get an oil change it goes away just fine. but i need to take it in for a tune up also. dont get my wrong this car gets up and goes. off topic but i didnt see how my friends stock 2003 G35 sedan can beat me off the line. and i have a cold air intake and exhaust let alone the V8 engine. i know its a small V8.

maybe some damaged springs in the tranny. I lost 4th and 5th gear because of that and had jerky shifts until it was replaced

is there anyway to get a code before i just start assuming things it could be?!
