I'll bet it's either broken or has a crack in it. That will do exactly as you describe. Well.. when it's BROKE it'll only blow out the defrost... your scenario sounds like you have a leak.. not actually BROKEN.. look for a small crack or a leak at either end. Hope this helps unity September 10th, 2008, 09:38 AM +1 At higher RPM the vacuum of the engine is much lower thus pronounce the leak. This is also why some cars will blow heat at WOT. XLRVIII September 10th, 2008, 12:26 PM For more of a reference, the hose connects to a vacuum tree sticking out of the drivers side of the intake manifold, sticking straight up and is over next to the drivers side valve cover. If you have the engine cover still on the car, you will want to take it off to check this out. mafioso September 10th, 2008, 12:54 PM if you cant duck it F$$$ IT !!!!! Mcgyver can fix it with a stick of gum a match and foil from the gum. chicken September 10th, 2008, 09:22 PM or the vac canister in the pass fender could be bypassed imnot2g4u October 9th, 2008, 03:59 PM For more of a reference, the hose connects to a vacuum tree sticking out of the drivers side of the intake manifold, sticking straight up and is over next to the drivers side valve cover.
