You've used the word "epitome" incorrectly. Epitome means a representative sample. I think what you meant to say is that John Street is the pinnacle of the scum of the world.

For example: The Cleavers were the epitome of '50s family life. Lincolns were the pinnacle of Luxury cars of the '50s.

Not only did I use the word incorrectly in the sixth grade I got up in front of the class and pronounced it ep-i-tome. Duh! I never made that mistake again.

lol, well im no good with vocab...but when i first saw it spelled thats how i pronounced it till i figgured out that it was the smae thing.

Have a look at some of Philly's past mayors and you'll see he's in fine company as far as corrupt officials go.
