OK, I have some weird stuff going on. I just finished reassembling my car last night after paint. So today I took it for a drive. Couple things going on I dont understand. The car was parked for about two months and the battery was disconnected during part of that time.
Today I noticed that when I shut the car off, the clock on the information center will stay on, as will the radio (even if the keys are out and the doors are open).
Also, my airbag light has been flashing off an on intermittantly, like the clock spring has gone bad?????
Any ideas?

does the door ajar warning come up when the doors are opened with the key on, sounds like your switches are stuck or unplugged
and does your horn work?

didnt you crash the car? if you did, i think you did, and your air bags deployed, if you didnt change the air bag module thats why the light is flashing. when the crash sensors tell the air bag module " hey we're hit " the module deploys the bags and its smoked after that, it only works once, when you fix a crashed car with deployed bags you have to change the module with the air bags. as far as the clock staying on i'm not to sure whats going on there. but if you didnt crash the car i just wasted 3 minutes typing lol.

I did crash the car, but the air bags did not deploy. I was hit in the rear. I drove the car after the crash and none of this stuff was going on. Weird.

You know, I'm not sure... Ill check that. I put new doors on and that very well could be part of the problem. Now that I think about it, I dont remember my dome light comming on when I opend the doors.

Some of the air bag systems have a delay. It may takes a couple weeks for the light to come on. We see it in the shop on just about a daily basis, even if you check for DTC's and make sure the air bag system is working properly.

The door switch was the problem on the doors. I forgot to plug the harness in, so even if the doors where open, the car thinks they are closed. Not sure about the airbag yet. Light just comes on spuratically.
