Another transmission upgrade parts question

I’ve been looking at the parts that work in the 00-02 Lincoln LS transmission (5R55N) and the “Increased Pressure” Main Pressure Regulator Springs (http://www.transmissioncenter.org/5r55s_mustang_v6.htm) is a part I have a question about. How many springs do I need for the 5R55N transmission? I’ve tried email the parts guy at transmissioncenter.org but no luck so far…

This is the description of the part:
This Sonnax spring is designed to restore or increase line pressure up to 10 PSI over OEM specifications while avoiding excessively high line pressure and harsh shifts. Cost for ONE Spring. $6.00

How many springs does the 5R55N transmission need?

I called Transmissioncenter.org just now and the guy told me that I only need ONE Increased Pressure main pressure regulator spring. So pretty much all I need (according to the transmission guy :shifty: ) for what kind of performance upgrade I want is:

#S2 Increased Pressure Main Pressure Regulator Spring for 5R55N

#55SK Transgo Shift Kit for 5R55N

Sounds like I'm getting off pretty easy parts wise I sure hope the cost at the shop I take it into isn't that pricey either... I hope :(

No, it doesn't.[/QUOTE]

Exactly, it doesn't come with the spring. I made sure to ask the transmission guy.
