Yesterday someone on the Mark VIII forum felt that the search feature could be improved /simplified. I then agreed as did some others. Then Mespock stated it should be placed in this forum instead. Now as I only enjoy the forum, I have no clue as to the complexity of improving it. Normally I would try to give a suggestion but in the computer design area I'm lost. Overall though I truly love this Mark VIII site. Now I read it several times a day when possible. Gary in Elmira.

We are pretty limited by the software.

VB has some pretty crappy search functions if you're not familiar with search terms.

Today searching for "gen 1 egr" produced nothing. Not a big deal...then 'egr' still didnt get anything, so then I went with 'gen 1 egr 1993 93 94 95 96 mark viii valve' and got a WHOLE bunch of info. Does take a while but oh well.

its the abbreviations that makes it difficult really.
