Cylinder firing order?mjh112 August 4th, 2008, 12:35 PM I know that it has been posted before, but I can't seem to find it. I need to find out what's the order the cylinders fire for a 2000 ls V8. thanks. 03AspenGreenLS August 4th, 2008, 12:41 PM For V6 is 1-4-2-5-3-6 For V8 is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 cammerfe August 4th, 2008, 01:29 PM #1 is pass side front #5 is driver side front KS mjh112 August 4th, 2008, 04:28 PM Thanks guys. Just so I got this right. #1 is pass. side front and I'm assuming it goes in succession from there, 2 then 3 with 4 being at pass. rear. Then same on drivers side? Reason i'm asking is because of the old cop thing. On the codes it read cylinders 2, 6, &7. Really needed to know where they are located pektel August 4th, 2008, 04:31 PM AspenGreenLS gave you exactly what you asked for. But if you're just looking for cylinder numbers, they are: firewall 4 8 3 7 2 6 1 5 front mjh112 August 4th, 2008, 04:35 PM yeah I know. sorry aspen. I should've asked for the locations instead of firing order. I think i got it now. Thanks to all. ILLS August 4th, 2008, 11:25 PM Same as the Jag firing order...;) | |||||
