Don Guille July 31st, 2008, 10:15 AM Ebay. theirs a thread going around with the vendor that sold these he has more, but this past weekend he had a 10% special wich made da headlights 101.46 for the pair shipped. if you buy them now they are prolly around 117 wich is still NOT bad.

I read that post also, but my question is why has no one else brought up this
discrepancy concerning different versions of gray glue? I've never heard Ken say anything about it, so I'm a little curious as to where he even heard that from in the 1st place. First hand experience maybe?

I'm pretty sure most of us are just waiting to see what happens. It's not safe to ass-u-me that it's the same (or has the same properties as the) gray "glue" Lincoln used just because it's gray--it very well may be, but the only way to know is for someone to try to take the lens apart.

However, if those are used headlights then they may work.

We'll see which it is when someone who got them tries to open them up. :D I would imagine that there's more than one company producing aftermarket LS headlights. There are plenty of aftermarket headlights for other vehicles that use a gray sealant that comes apart with heat.
