Thirsty Lucy?

My 00' v6 ls (AKA Lucy pending approval) has been taking a beating this summer. She has 93k and yesterday I drove out to Montauk LI ( about 7 hours total driving) and today had her running up and down manhattan in traffic for about 6 hours non stop. I know that this hot weather is giving her hell and my Ac was only blowing cool air out of the drivers side (my passenger was "sweating his balls off"). Does any anybody think they can devise a list of nutritious and healthy beverages (fluids) that should be topped off or changed to keep my lovely lady from fainting this summer? Or maybe she's in need of a make over. I don't have any big problems right now except shes due for an oil change. I was just reall y wondering if anybody has some good advice to keep it from overheating. (I haven't changed anything except for brake and wiper fluid in the last year and probably 20k). I might be terrible for taking care of her so minimally, but hopefully one of you guys can give me some suggestions. Thanks in advance for any tips.

sounds like the dccv (dual climate control valve). mine went out, its a 150 dollar part, but a pain in the a*s to change out.

I didnt think it was a pain at all.
I went thru Team Ford--->
...and it cost me $96, and 1 1/2 hours of time, including purging the cooling system of air.

Im more worried about my car over heating than mysekf or my passengers overheating. What fluids do you guys think are most vital to keep tabs on?
