Hi Kids! I'm John "OldSchool" Dancy! You might know me from such places as Ford vs Chevy, Lincoln vs Cadillac, and Lincolns OnLine. But did you also know that I was a law breaking criminal? That's right!
Kids. You could get a parking ticket for sitting on the side of the road watching those dangerous old 'Street Racer' thugs! That's right Kids! Without making a single bet or even starting your engine! A single Philadelphia Police Squad Car (equipped with a camcorder) can drive through the area and record the REGISTERED LICENSE PLATES of all you dirty little law breakers! Upon review of said recording, it's a simple matter of issuing HUNDREDS of citations that come right to your homes!
So remember Kids;
Street racing is bad! Watching 'Street Racers' is just as bad! Having your registered license plate seen in public and recorded by the police is bad! Don't be bad! Don't do drugs! Stay in school!

What they have been doing is the first time they bust you as long as your not a dlck they JUST give you the 1000 dollar ticket but they put you in the computer and if you are caught again they give you another 1000 dollar ticket AND tow your car.

All you have to do is say that you pulled over because they were racing on the street and you could not pass through... Unless they have video of your car actually moving, ticket should be dismissed. May have to just pay $15 court fee. Call me if you want me to represent...

How DARE you watch those street racers! And I thought you were an upstanding citizen, a pillar to the community, We could understand, if you ran over school kids in a crosswalk or polluted the communal water system, but this? It's just plain unforgivable! :joke
(All joking aside, you really ought to consider contesting the citation, did other "spectators" get a citation too?(that you know of?) Something dosen't seem Kosher about it, IMHO. )
