ILLS

Backstory: I was in Maine some months back teaching a management class and noticed one of my students had a pretty cool diesel pickup truck. It was a regular cab, short bed and was dually as well with whatever diesel engine it had in it. I only got a quick glance at it as I was rushing inside in the colder weather so I never did see if it was a Dodge or Ford. It looked fairly new and looked and sounded really cool though. I talked to the student a little bit about it and they had said they had to custom order it that way.
Why I ask: In as possibly as short as 1 year I will be up for purchasing another newer vehicle. Three options come to mind which are: C5 Z06 or C6 Vette, SRT8 JGC, or This truck. I have thought about picking up a diesel truck in the past but the thought of a friggin longass truck just didn't appeal to me much. However, if I were able to get something like what this guy had then I would have a mean hauler and also mod the hell out of it as well.
Has anyone seen anything like this offered from Ford or Dodge before or am I the only one? I tried a search on the net but good luck with that.

its a option through ford, a rare one but yes its a option, usually city trucks etc. whats really fun is a reg cab, chassis cab (no bed yet usually get a utility box or something) those are fun to PDI (check over after they get unloaded from the transport) cuz you get to drive them that way. theres nothing like doing a dually diesel burnout with out a bed, kinda neat to watch everything spinning back there. but ILLS didnt you just say in another thread that you like a challenge instead of bolt ons :D

That doesn't mean I will use those boltons offered. Why pay 3x as much for a mod when I can make my own custom parts on my own?
