I got in my 97 mark VIII today started it and noticed that the check engine light was on . What should I do about this:confused:

Ah' Get the codes pulled. :)

This can be done at many local auto Parts stores. [Free] Be sure to have a pencil & paper with you and write down the codes in order as they are displayed.

Come back here and post the code numbers.

you forgot to tell him to leave after he writes down the codes, remember the parts stores are there to sell you parts, usually the part wont even fix the problem get the code and run!!!
it should be (EXAMPLE) p0301, or something along those lines the numbers will be different, just post and we will help
