I have a sat button on my radio, I want to install an xm radio receiver, how does this work?
I see links like this http://www.superchargedaudio.com/product_info.php?products_id=3046 is this junk?

Ask Ford. They probably sell a kit to make it work.

I see links like this http://www.superchargedaudio.com/product_info.php?products_id=3046 is this junk? The SAT button works with the Ford Sirius system made by Visteon. There is a company that makes an adapter to allow an XM module to be added to the steering wheel controls, but I am not sure that the SAT buttons also works with the adapter.

No. It has a Sat antenna that comes with the kit. They show that you route it from the trunk, under the rear window molding. I did not like it there and now have it on the rear package tray below the rear window. It works 99.9% of the time with only an occasional 2-3 second loss of signal.

I have the xm adapter installed in my car and it works great. We did have to modify on of the plugs to power it up. the unit is made by terk/audovox.

Read the info provided before you order it as there are some LS's it will not work.
