But I am not sure how without removing it. 96mark8 June 29th, 2008, 06:08 PM I have put a t56 in and now i need to byass the sensor so the car will start. Icarus June 29th, 2008, 08:03 PM The T56 doesn't have a neutral saftey switch on it? 96mark8 June 29th, 2008, 10:00 PM The T56 doesn't have a neutral saftey switch on it? I know. We swaped out the auto trans now we need to bypasss the range sensor that was on the original trans so the starter will turn. ILLS June 29th, 2008, 10:43 PM Do you want to just bypass it all the time or do you want to attach a bypass to function as a neutral safety for you manual tranny? I have the wiring diagrams so once you let me know this I can help you with whatever way you want to go. driller June 29th, 2008, 10:48 PM Look for a Red/Light Blue wire on pin 1 and a White/Pink wire on pin 4. Connecting those two will be as if the MLPS is in park or neutral. 96mark8 June 30th, 2008, 12:01 AM Do you want to just bypass it all the time or do you want to attach a bypass to function as a neutral safety for you manual tranny? Glad to help! :) AbrahamLincoln July 2nd, 2008, 02:13 AM how difficult is the t-56 swap? Lets see some footage of that manual mark! 96mark8 July 2nd, 2008, 01:19 PM how difficult is the t-56 swap? Lets see some footage of that manual mark! It is not that hard everything basicey bolts right up. The only major fabbing that has to be done is on the shifter and the pedal. Even that was not hard i got a mustang clutch pedal and took the clutch pedal and tube off and rewelded it on the marks pedal. i will try to get a pic of the pedal up later today. I did not even have to extend the wiring on the ecm if you look under the dash wear the ecm it there is a big plastic tube that runs across and give air to the two vents (one by you foot and the other right to the left of the steering wheel) i just Cut that tube out caped the end and the ecm lays perfictly there. i will get a pic of that too. the only down side to that is you no longer get air out of those two vents but if you want you can take a tube and reroute the air over the ecm. the mark is not running yet i just wanted to makeshure the starter worked. i have to make a shifter also i am still waiting on my new driveshaft (should be hear later this week) and have to build it an exuast. i was thinking highflow cats through glasspacks and then bring it out on the side like a cobra R. i will get some vids up when it is running with should be in about a week or two! till then i will get some pics! just got my driveshaft while posting this!!!!! AbrahamLincoln July 2nd, 2008, 01:52 PM with the T-56 ive read that the shifter will be long enough to come up through the marks' stock shifter position? that true? Has the T-56 swap ever been done before, i know its been talked about it and it would be the transmission to go for because the adjustable shifter or something like that? AbrahamLincoln July 2nd, 2008, 01:56 PM did you use the mechanical or hydraulic clutch? 96mark8 July 2nd, 2008, 03:34 PM with the T-56 ive read that the shifter will be long enough to come up through the marks' stock shifter position? that true? Has the T-56 swap ever been done before, i know its been talked about it and it would be the transmission to go for because the adjustable shifter or something like that? That is false atleast with a cobra trans i have heard that it would be closer if you took a gto or firebird tailshaft but I did not want to start taking the trans apart. there are two places on the trans wear the shifter can come out of my shifter is as for as it will come as you can see in the pics it is not neearly far enough. when i build my extention i will take pics of that to. I used a mechanical clutch setup that is for mustangs. i will not lie this setup is not perfict but will work for now. alot of wires are rubbing the pedal but it should work depending on how good this setup works i might go back and swich to a hydrolic setup. hear are some pics :) unity July 2nd, 2008, 03:44 PM Cool. Thats all I have to say about that. :D Staffamerica74 July 19th, 2008, 08:06 PM any more updates? 96mark8 July 19th, 2008, 09:40 PM any more updates? yea got it running last week it accelerates alittle faster but that should improve alot when i put some 4:10's or 4:30's in :D but that will be in a month or so cuz i am broke right now:( i still need to bulid a shifter and tune it i have the system but have not gotten around to it. also i think it need a new feul pump and filter because after a hard pull it loses pressure. when i am done with all this i will post vids and a nice write up! StrykerV8 July 19th, 2008, 11:57 PM Thats too cool! Lookin forward to pics and write up! 96mark8 July 20th, 2008, 12:26 PM Thats too cool! Lookin forward to pics and write up! thanks!
