I think thats a little over-priced unless you are planning some serious mods. You could do a lot with $1800 to get some serious gains without resorting to these heads.

$1900 For a Port and polish job?? has kind of a sketchy description, but it does say "bare".. 100 hp over stock, maybe with their best Cam package added which is another $1125.. So over $3000 For heads?? I dont know.. I think a good port job and some FR500 cams would give you similar gains for a fraction of the cost..

Have to agree here. It says up to 100hp. I'm willing to bet your spending big money on cams and FI for that. Three grand will get you real close to a supercharger.

I am looking into the FR500 kit now, They say it is good with a blower as well. So if i go that route, then i wont ever have to change them over!.. the kit is really reasonable too.

Definitely keep us posted. You have me old on getting a short runner Cobra intake. I'd like too see what the actual gains are with those cams.

That's pretty much the market price.

You could do cheaper if you had the talent. I would not buy any 4V heads without flow bench numbers, it's far too easy to call them ported/polished and not have good flow.

Get a set of B heads send em to Modular Performance or Modular Mustang Racing and have them port and polish them with a new valvetrain.

Cams are going to make the biggest difference. I would suggest going CNC ported and polished heads after the cams, and only if you plan to really put some money into the vehicle to make it go fast. Have the heads decked down so that your CR can be raised a good amount and that 4V will make some killer power with the proper intake. Or you can leave the CR low and toss on a blower to make some good power until the stocker bottom end grenades.
