I know no one has posted in this thread for like a year but I didn't want to add to the general town car forum. So I have a 1997 Lincoln Town Car and I was just going to go down to the local muffler shop here and have them replace the cats with high-flow cats (gotta keep them with California smog) and then 2.5 piping the rest of the way with an X pipe, or maybe a double X pipe I am not sure if that would help in performance or not, then send it to either flowmaster 40's or get some Borla mufflers. The new mustangs with the borla systems sound so bad@$$. So basically I am looking for the best way to setup my exhaust for the best power gain and the best sound. Any input would be great.
