Love Journey. They really turned the corner when they signed Steve Perry. Every lead singer since has had the same sound as Steve. I like it, but at the same time I would like to see them mix it up.

Yeah I wish Steve and guys would just get over it and get back together but Im not hating this lineup.

Journey needs Steve Perry.. He made Journey Journey... the last guy they had sucked. This guy is good but if you need a sound alike then you need Steve Perry...

If that was the guy who tried to even look like Steve Perry... I saw them twice back a few years ago. First time he sucked.... second time he was a fare replacement but he's not Steve Perry... I'm sorry but I believe they need to move on..

It's obvious they are trying to pick somone that can sound like Steve. I agree with Geno.... bring Steve Perry back. I do prefer Steve Perry.

If I'm not mistaken Steve Augeri was replaced because of a throat problem. According to Steve Augeri, when (if) he gets better, he's comming back.

You know Steve Perry is just laughing his @ss off at these guys. Both of the last two replacements Blow Hard!

This new guy, Arnel Pineda, is aguably BETTER than Steve Perry.
His voice is absolutely incredible and in someways he's doing himself a disservice by working with Journey, it's a shame he is identified as a Steve Perry cover artist.

If you poke around the web, you can find videos of him doing lots of other stuff that is excellent. He's no kid and he's caught the attention of the industry for a long time now over in East.

On the downside, I don't know what HE sounds like... but he has an incredible ear and ability and can recreate any of these sounds perfectly.
