I was at McD's for my daughters birthday party. I just happen to notice the LS pulling in. I had the camera with me for the party. I crabbed it and went outside. Spoke to the owner. Got a few pictures. The turn signals are wired to the corner markers in the bumper. The owner plans to repaint the car and have the hood sanded downed and fixed.

I have seen the car wash and clean. It looks good on the road. I have never seen rims like those before. They remind me of sand dollars. Wash and clean. They could blind you.:)

Not sure who did the headlight swap. The current owner, nice young guy, has plans for it. Fix the hood and new paint. I suggested House of Color. Good selection of colors.

BTW I asked for the young man to register and drop in and say "hi". So some of you might want to back off a bit.

I don't think the lights look that bad might look better if they were smaller and lined up with the hood/fender gap. Definately original.

The car already had those things done to it when his family bought it. I got to speak with both him and his mother earlier this year, I think that thread's floating around here somewhere.

That's with the Hood modified with fiberglass maybe to stick out alittle over the headlights like the stangs and cobras too

Yeah Ive always wondered what the LS would look like if you put the terminator headlights on it.

It is unique I would agree there. I don't think it looks that bad, however it isn't something I would do to mine. But that is what this is all about, being unique and doing what you like.

Just needs a little bit of work, but I like it.

They look like giant eyes on the front of his car. He should paint the headlights to look like eyes, paint the lower trenz grill white to look like teeth and he would have a good shot at getting that thing in the next Cars movie!!

Or, he could just paint some $100 doller bills down the side of his car and he could give that guy on ebay a run for his money!!

Those along with Cavaliers, Sun fires, Neons are some of the cheesiest cars I have ever seen. Every time I see one it is so cheap its not funny.

Over sized exhaust, top fuel in-line dragster looking quote touring wings, neon lights everywhere they could fit, chrome tinted windows. spinner hubcaps, the list could go on and on.

Thats all I see is cheap crap like that around here as far as those domestic vehicles on that level. The original owner of the car may deserve credit but it is still ugly and from the looks of it till that kid gets things fixed up a bit very poorly executed.

Definately not my thing, but I'm glad someone's taking the time to play on the lincoln's body. The reason for doing such a thing is to get noticed and I'm sure he's getting his share of attention with his mod. So mission accomplished!

Now if it's not your thing, who cares. Aslong as he's happy with it and taking the time to do it. Also, the other thing this does is open up the doorway for more ideas. I saw a couple of peeps recommending cobra lights and what not. Perhaps someone will take it on because of this.

Its our opinion the car sucks. If he wants to come in and e-thug, lets see it. You may like it, he may like it but from what I have seen most of us don't and last time I checked everyone was entitled to their opinion.

Looks like I'm going against popular opinion here, but I like it. It reminds me of late model Mercedes sedans, particularly the S-class. The front end looks very unique. Yes, a higher end headlight could have been used. The Mach edition Focus and certain SVT Focus models came with HID projector headlights, so that would have been pretty cool.

And yes, most of you guys are being a-holes. A simple "not my style" is appropriate, not "that car is absolute garbage." Easy to talk tough on the internet.....

I would have chosen lights with seperate low and high beams if I was doing a complete headlight swap. But the idea is unique and I don't think it looks that bad. With a nice pair of grills and different wheels I think it could look nice

Those cars headlights are so distinct that they make the LS look like a giant Focus.

I would say he should at least paint the bezels to match or paint them matte black or something.

On another note, going through the pics I realized that the comment about the wheel poke should be retracted. In the second pic it looks as if they poke out pretty far but its clear in the others they don't.

I still don't like anything about the car and hope the kid that now owns it has some better ideas for it to create a look that don't make those damn lights clash so bad with the rest of the car.



IMO the headlights on the LS look pretty cool and just don't need much altering with the exception of the common angel eyes and reflectors.

i'm usually all gung-ho for one-offs but that is absolutely hideous. why in the wide world of sports you would choose focus headlights just blows my mind. i just cannot wrap my head around the required thought process.

I don't like it. The headlights just don't fit with the look of the car and it kills the front body lines.

I like the concept. The car, with just different headlights almost resembles a Mercedes AMG. Ofcourse the wheels and other accessories are terrible but if the headlights had some projectors or somthing else within the casing, i'd be a fan.

i dont think it looks that bad. what bothers me is that the headlights themself are kind of boring but the overall look isnt horrible. Maybe would have looked better with Benz lights? Either way props for being different!

This is the benz i was talking about. The overall shape (IMO) would suit the body lines of the LS more than the focus. And the components of these lights are way nicer than the plain fucus lights...lol

I agree with 2k2ls but I think it might be another model or another year.

it definitely reminds me of a benz. it was my first thought when I saw the picture. I just looked on the Mercedes website to try to find a picture that would show the similarity better (IMO) but could not find one. It might be an older (2-3 years) model that has change since then, but definitely some resemblance. believe me, I am the best at noticing similarities that others can't see.

I would bet that is the look that the PREVIOUS owner was going for.

I think it kinda looks like a Taurus or a Sable. Cool idea to swap headlights and all, but not to foci.

BMW really does make some of the best headlights.

I think it looks pretty cool. Gives it a Maybach sort of look. Much sleeker than the stock flat front fascia. The rims sucks but the headlights are definentely different and unique.

On The focus looks like you stuck the mach 1 lip on the lower valance. I don't know anything about foci, so maybe that's a standard aftermarket part, but just sayin it looks like when someone puts the lip on their LS.

+1 on the previous owner should've used the HID lights instead of the standard.
