Couple quick Jmod questions

I've already drained the TC and dropped the trans pan, but how should I get the transmission fluid out of the lines and radiator? I am going to install an auxiliary transmission cooler.
Where is a good place to mount this? I was thinking on the brace right in front of the radiator, though I'm unsure if only attaching at 2 corners of the cooler is enough?

Air hose, fluid pump, or flush machine... or leave it as some will drip out when you put the cooler on. If it's not contaminated, I wouldn't worry about the miniscule amount in the lines.

whats the torque spec on the small bolts holding the 3 round covers to the valve body?

Never mind its 90 inch pounds.

For the tranny cooler, is it better to remove the entire return line and just use rubber hose 3/8, or to splice into the existing line before it returns to the transmission? Im mounting after the radiator cooler

The easiest way is to get the right fittings that screw onto the existing ends that go into the rad. They will have barbs on the one side for the hoses.

OK thanks.

Now I have a new problem though, I can't get the new 2-3 accumulator to stay in the bore. It wont go up far enough to put the retainer clip on. Does it push up all the way into the bore? Ive been pushing pretty hard and it wont go up. I have the right part.

Ok well if I flip the retainer clip upside down, it will fit and stay in the bore, but not when its right side up, can I do it this way? Should I use a clap to force the bore upwards, or the accumulator into the bore? Ive given it quite a lot of force already.

It should go up in to the bore, if the cover doesn't stay in, you may need to tweak the tabs out to hold it. I found it a bit of a pain to get it in there right and have the cover hold fine, took about 4-5 tries. The cover should be on like this attachment shows:
